We need a real move of God
I'm of the opinion that every time God moves us into a time of refreshing, the religious man-made organization and the devil somehow get involved and mess everything up.
Our heavenly Father won't share His glory with man (Isaiah 42:8), and immediately withdraws Himself. Most times, people don’t even know the Holy Spirit is no longer moving in their midst—just as Samson did not know that the Lord had departed from him (Judges 16:20).
Some religious leaders are so "good" at what they do that those attending their conferences, meetings, or gatherings do not even recognize that God is not in the building. They “profess to know God, but in works they deny Him” (Titus 1:16).
Many will talk about God as if He were around, but the reality is completely opposite, for “they honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me” (Matthew 15:8).
If you want to see a genuine move of God, then religion or religious duties must get out of the way. We must die to self to the point that we no longer feature, but Christ does. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20).
We are tired of the con artists, the liberal-leaning progressives that we have allowed to infiltrate our meetings. We are tired of the man-made agenda, the vision of men. We are desperately looking to Jesus, repenting as we ask the Holy Spirit to purge our hearts of any religious spirit, and to do so until our hearts demonstrate the sanctification of God’s Word in us. “Sanctify them by Your truth; Your word is truth” (John 17:17).
Set us on fire, Lord, burn within us, cause us to die to every selfish ambition. Be glorified upon the earth. “Our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:29). Let the Church, the authentic Church, rise up in readiness for the glorious day of the Lord (Ephesians 5:27).
Our prayer is this: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
