Today was the day! It was officially the anniversary of the day that Gru had adopted his “leetle gurlz” from the orphanage, and it was up to the minions to get the house and the lab ready while Gru and Lucy were doing their daily work for the AVL, who had been grateful to Gru for saving her life a few days ago.

Inside of a bedroom, Dave walked over to his friend, Stuart, saying, “Hey, comatu, fetilo dilupalita Boss tupa partita!” *Come on, we got to get the house ready for Gru and the girls!*

"Whoo-hoo!" shouted Stuart, excited, and he jumped out of bed to follow his friend into the living room, which they would decorate first… and luckily for them, Kevin and Jerry were already starting.

"Bello!" greeted Dave and Stuart.

"Bello!" replied Kevin and Jerry.

Just then, the television screen turned on, and the four minions saw their boss, who was inside the AVL submarine. “Good morning, you guys! Are you starting to set up the house?”

"Yessir!" The four minions said, giving a salute.

"Excellent," replied Gru. "But now, I need you four to do favors for me… Dave, Stuart, you two must invite Antonio from de salsa restaurant, okay? Eet’s for Margo, not me… Kevin, Jerry? You guys will help Lucy grocery shopping when she comes back in a little bit, okay?"

They nodded, but Dave and Stuart reminded him who would do the decorations and set up the place.

"I got it covered," said Gru. "Mikey! Where are you?"

The four minions didn’t know who Mikey was, but then, the purple minion who’d once been a yellow minion (no longer one due to over exposure from the Px serum) appeared and gave Gru a salute. “MESA READY, BOSSA!”

"That’s the spirit, Mikey!" said Gru, who had finally given him a name. "You will help Tim and the other minions decorate okay? And NO CHEWING ON AGNES’ unicorn! You are lucky she hasn’t seen that or noticed anything."

Mikey nodded his head, and Gru finished with, “Okay, then… Lucy is on her way, and I’ll be there a little later. Dave, Stuart? Make sure that boy comes okay? I still don’t like him but if it makes Margo happy I’ll let it go for now.”

Dave and Stuart nodded their heads, but after Gru signed off, they groaned because they had wanted to decorate.

"Hahahaha!" laughed Kevin and Jerry, while Mikey went off to find Tim and Phil and the others.

Dave sighed, and he said, “Okay… Stuart, jeito fetru Antonio rekitu kunga.” *Let’s go get Antonio for the girls’ party.*

After they were gone, Kevin and Jerry just had to wait for Lucy to come… so, what to do in the meantime?

"Putt putt?" asked Kevin, holding a golf ball.

What about Jillian? There is none and I bet it would be damn funny xD

She was the most beautiful woman Dave had ever seen and whether that was in part because she could take him - and his cupcakes - down in a heartbeat he didn't know and he didn't care. All that he knew was that the red-haired vixen was the subject of all of his fondest fantasies and here she was standing in front of him like she had - could she have? - come just to see him.

He tried to find the words to say hello. In his mind, he was suave and debonair. He took her by the hand and twirled her into his arms, tipping her back and greeting her with a deep, growling hello. But all real Dave could manage was an open-mouthed stare of absolute adoration.

It wasn't the norm for the thief, pretty lame in his books actually. But this city was different. It didn't have crowns, or anything of the sort. There was however, a whole entire room FILLED with jewelry. Oh he tried to take something from there. He tried his sneakiest approach. However, It didn't end well. There was something watching him because the owner of the place showed him a reenactment of the situation on some sort of box. Flynn didn't get it.

And so, he resorted to this. Back to the beginning. Pursesnatching. Scoping the shopping area, he looked for the perfect woman. A big bag was more of his liking. Bigger bag, more money. Or so that was how he thought of it. How else would they hold all their coins?  "Ahaaaaaa" There she was. Tall, redhead. And playing on some weird unfamiliar gadget. Nevertheless, she was distracted. Perfect.
