in general it's the idea of identitying as a character that you didn't create; like to me it feels weird because that's someone's oc and you're saying you're them and you're the only them. It just makes no sense to me

aside from this, I also find it odd that you consider yourself so close to someone that doesn't exist that you ARE them. it's just, to me, it should be clear you aren't.

and along these lines, the fictionkins that make me most uncomfortable are the "doubles dni" people, and it's really not a big deal but it pisses me off that you're so attached to a character that, mind you, you didn't create, that you would go so far as to say that you are the only one allowed to view this character and act as this character.

I'm sorry if any of this came off as rude-- I was trying to answer the question as genuinely as possible, and again, I really don't care who or what you identify as. My baseline is as long as you are not hurting yourself and/or others, you should be able to do as you please and be who you want.
