Another little doodle collection, I was quite consumed by other creative projects over the last weeks I doodled less the last weeks.

Sometimes, Mana thinks he has a hole in his head.

Road seeing a grumpy but cute kid hanging around Mana and his dog and curious as she is, she decides to investigate (she always was quite a sucker for cute things)

She has nothing better to do and it's been a while since she had a toy, so why not?

Red finds her annoying and downright creepy because she only shows up at night or in the early mornings and appears out of thin air like a godamned ghost

His distaste for her totally doesn't have anything to do with the fact she's taller than him--She has heels on her shoes, so it doesn't count!

Road loves seeing his reactions and takes every chance to jump scare him

Red hates the way she clings to him with no respect for his personal space, hanging off his arm, hugging him, holding hands, kissing him on the cheek

He finds her name nice, because it's not a real name either just like his

Red lets her hang around because aside from behaving like a spoiled brat sometimes, she always gives him candy

Road watches this grumpy kid with the temper be a slave to the circus and despite his Innocence finds he doesn't deserve it.

She might have just a little soft spot for the kid because his fiery spirit reminds her of someone else long gone

Red glares but lets her keep him company when he works late into the night, watching her build snowmen as he cleans the props

Road smothering Red in her coat because he must be cold and she loved dressing other people up

He's half convinced she's a circus runaway because her acrobatics when she flips from high places and lands perfectly on her feet, seemingly floating in the air, are better than some of their own performers

Road loves the way he panics whenever she does something reekless like hanging upside down from a high tree branch. His visible concern about her falling and breaking something is too cute for words

Road collecting clothes she thinks would suit him in her dimension world, telling herself it's only because she wants to play dress up with the kid not because she cares

Obviously, she CARES and she didn't sign up for this

Road tells Red she'll need to be away for some time but she's got a parting gift for him

Red finds a doll in the snow, looking just like her and it's the first toy he's ever gotten and he doesn't care if everybody says boys can't play with dolls, because they're all full of shit

He cuddles with the doll, hiding it from the other troopers and Road is overjoyed she gets to hang around him and keep Mana in her sight at the same time

One day when Cosimo tells him how ugly he is with his arm Red has a heart attack when his doll starts talking

"Don't listen to that asshole! I think you're plenty cute." Getting dotted on by a doll which can speak and move is making Red wonder if he's finally gone crazy

The doll tries to get him to be friends with the weird Clown he's caught singing in the dead of the night

Red attacks Cosimov when he finds his doll and rips it apart in front of his eyes

Of course he loses

Imagine his surprise when the doll knits itself back together and transforms back into Road

She beats Cosimov's ass when he tries to lay a hand on Red

Red isn't sure what the hell is going on and the shock makes him faint

Road considering kidnapping the boy and putting him into one of her dimensions because he would be safe there

Red is fully convinced she's a witch which would explain why she doesn't seem to grow taller or older as time passes

They somehow end up traveling with Mana, and Red, who is now Allen, is ready to tear his own hair out because his hair is fine just the way it is, Road needs to put the scissors away before he loses an eye and if they don't stop telling him how cute he is in the clothes they force him into he'll set them on fire

But honestly, Red's sadness about losing his memories and him whishing he could at least remember his own name fucking got me, okay, I'm crying rn

I mean, we don't how old Red/Allen exactly is (and I don't mean his age in connection to past!Allen but his "normal" one) All we know is that Red/Allen was 12 when Mana died, so I assume he must have been around 9/10 when he met Mana (I don't think they actually spent that much time togther)

That's (nearly) a decade of unknown memeories!!!10 years!!!! That's not something you are just not able to remember anymore! Imagine, how it would feel like to forget 10 years of your life (and even if it's I dunno 7 years that's still alot)

So it's not just the case of "my parents abandoned me at birth that's why I don't have a name"
