This is the scam that tricked many at the moment

THIS POST IS SOLELY TO SHOW EVERYONE THAT HAS BEEN HACKED AND HAD THEYRE ACCESS TAKEN AWAY, HOW AND WHERE THEY CAN GET IT BACK.

If you lose access and can’t change your password because they changed the authentication code is the reason a lot of people aren’t able to gain access back.

Step 1. Go to tumblr support form

Step 2. Make the subject “account access” if you can’t find hacked or scam and start stating the details of what happened and why you can’t access your account, make sure you put the email that you registered to create your hacked account and submit that.

After wards you should get a support ticket confirmation. It has a a lot of instructions but this is basically what you should do.

Put the username of the main blog of your hacked account and give them the email you used to create it. Also explain the situation and exact you can’t access. After that the ticket should be confirmed and you need to wait a few hours or even a day and once they reply. They will ask if the email your sending is the same one you made the tumblr acc with and then you’ll send your IP address so they can confirm that you were the original accessor.

They will turn off authentication code for you and you have to try logging in again and put ‘forgot my password ‘ so you can change it in your email.

After this PUT A AUTHENTICATION CODE AND RESET YOUR PASSWORD AGAIN.

This is to make sure the scammer doesn’t have access on it by a logged in web or app.
