He left. Thatâs all you remember about the time with Sam Winchester. No, thatâs not true. Itâs the only part you allow yourself to remember to not break down all over again.
After that, the days were gray, and you started to pull away from people again.
He gave you hope, only to shatter it when he took not only his love but your future away from you.
Now heâs back in town, another woman on his arm. She smiles sweetly and seems to be happy. Her hand subconsciously strokes her belly, and your stomach tightens.
You were the same not so long ago, until Sam told you he didnât want children. It was a shock, yes, but you believed you could work things out. Pregnancy sometimes changes relationships, but it doesnât mean you must fall apart.
Sam thought differently. The very next day, he was gone. He ghosted you, ignoring your calls. Even the one you made from the hospital. Until today, Sam doesnât know you wanted to tell him that you lost the baby.
It wasnât in your plans to run into Sam Winchester, the man breaking not only your heart. Since he left you like you never meant anything to him, you have trust issues and anxiety.
While he moved on to the next woman, you are stuck in the past.
âHeâs not worth it, you know.â You sigh at your friendâs words. Sheâs right, you know that. âWhatever you had wasnât real, or worth your tears.â
âBut it feels real to me now; it felt real to me then.â You choke out. âHe moved on to her and looks happy, while Iâm barely hanging on.â
