Cities.  Axel was no fan of cities; much harder to hide in, way too easy to stand out in.  Whether he had his hood over his head or not, he was easily spotted and earned himself a wide berth, and the last time he’d decided to spend a mission commuting by rooftop had been the time he discovered the people there had cameras in their friggin’ phones.  Really, at this point, he should put some serious thought into civilian clothing and letting his hair down some missions--for whatever good that would do.

In the meantime, he decided to stick to the marketplace, keeping his hood up and staying mostly in the shadows.  He got his information from those in the shade, avoiding the bright clothing and loud voice that he knew identified a prying tourist.  The people here had some intricacies in their turns of phrase that Axel didn’t completely understand, and laughed when he talked about creatures in the streets.  So, pretty standard, but it looked like the Heartless weren’t here.

Maybe Axel would have to arrange an introduction.

But that was up to Xemnas.  He was just slipping into a back alley to shift into another part of town when he got ambushed--maybe by thieves, maybe just because he clearly did not belong.  Axel had encountered both and more before, and he was lucky today.  The moment he called his chakrams to his hands, they were on the run.
