@recklessdevotion interviewed ally: “ i’m starting to think i’m just fucked up. ”
a moment of silence fell between the two of them as she sat there next to him. how was she supposed to comfort donovan when she felt the exact same way? it took ally a moment to regain her composure, the sadness lingering behind her green hues and she did what she’d always been focused on doing— making others feel better. there was no judgement. no hard feelings. all that remained between them was unconditional love, a bond that couldn’t be broken since the moment their friendship took off when she spoke up that fateful evening.
“you are fucked up.” those might not have been the words donovan had been expecting to hear, but it was the truth. her arms wrapped around his shoulder as she continued to speak, “but can you look me in the eyes and give me an example of one person who isn’t fucked up? we’re all fucked up, donovan. that doesn’t make you any less of a person than the next person who walks down the street.”
