Rebecca, “Please call me Becca,” Green is perhaps best known as a Nashville illustrator / painter for children’s and young adult books, as well as for magazines and galleries, but also helps run The Warren, a Nashville studio housing 5 working artists and hosting workshops, lectures and a variety of community events. In February, 2015 Becca was back at The Lodge Art Studio where she says she worked for a while when she lived in Arizona. [This Grand Avenue and McKinley St. studio has since become “{9} The Gallery.”] Green says her typical work is far more muted but working with donated paint, and given the needs of this location, she managed to adjust to working with brighter hues.  @rebeccagreenillustration  @scenesfromthesidewalk
