02: What was your favorite book growing up?

The “when” on this is so important. The one I remember the strongest and has lasted the longest is “Fire and Hemlock” by Diana Wynne Jones. It’s still, honestly, my favorite book. I can read it again and again and feel the same excitement as when I read it the very first time.

04: Have you ever thrown a book across the room?

I have not literally thrown a book, but I know I really wanted to while I was reading all four of the A Song of Ice and Fire books that were out at the time. Multiple times. But I was at work when I was reading them and that would have been inappropriate. I literally only read all four of those because I hate giving up on something in the middle. I can respect George R R Martin for his abilities and such, but I really do NOT enjoy his books.

13: What’s your favorite writing quote?

I don’t really have a quote, but Neil Gaiman’s pep talk for NaNoWriMo gives me life.

15: What would you say has inspired you the most?

Reading. It has taught me a great many things, not the least of which being “wow, if this shit can get published, I’m sure I could if I just finished something for once”

27: Which is your favorite genre to write?

Fantasy mainly, but I love steampunk so I usually try to throw in a twist of that at least.

35: What’s your favorite time of day for writing?

I haven't played all of their games, but the few ones by Level 5 I played were all awesome. Dark Cloud & Chronicle, Rogue Galaxy, Ni No Kuni... all great J-RPG games. Too bad they don't get the recognition they deserve...

The Dark Knight one looks awesome! Too bad I'm not into Disgaea myself (Tactical T_T), but this could've interested my brother if only it was released on PS3.

They were still good up to FFX I think (though FFX was annoucing changing in the series). But after that… that became terrible. FFXII had good gameplay but *still looking for ‘scenario’*. But FFVI was the best in the series anyway.

IX is my favourite numbered title in the series.

Well, it swaps around between IX and VII. Tactics is my total fave though.

X is up in the top few purely because of Blitzball for me. Everyone I've ever known hated it but I loved it. D=

12 was okay but I didn't really like the gambit system and Vaan is the most pointless thing ever. Scrap Vaan and it's better off lol.

So I’m going with Persona 3 because I still need to finish Persona 4 (shut up it’s NaNoWriMo I’ll do it in December!)

2: Favorite thing to cosplay?

The most favorite outfits I’ve ever done are probably my Suikoden cosplays. I’ve cosplayed Tir McDohl (and remaking it again out of better fabric for SakuraCon 2015), Camus, Hervey, and Helmut. The only one I have any pictures of is Camus, and they were taken in… I think 2006. They’re also pretty awful.

9: When did you start cosplaying?

Okay, so, TECHNICALLY my first cosplay was for Halloween in 1998. I went as one of the Turks from Final Fantasy VII and my mom thought I was nuts.

11: Which cosplay took you the longest time to make?

It depends on what you mean. For continuous work, my steampunked version of Chell from Portal. Sewing 15 yards of trim - actually 30 yards because it was two different overlayed trims - onto a single piece of the costume took a really long time and a painful amount of patience. Otherwise, Gryff actually got me in a pink skirt (true love is wearing a goddamn dress for the person when they want to do a pairs cosplay) once when we did Sakura and Tomoyo’s Dragonfly Race outfits from Tsubasa Chronicle. We started making the outfits for the convention one year, it didn’t work out in time, and so then we finished them the next year. So technically they were “in progress” for a year, but 11 months of that year they were shoved in a closet and forgotten.

16: Would you, if given the chance, cosplay at school/work?

I have. I was totally proud of the outfit, but nobody knew anything about it and so I left feeling very defeated. I don’t do it anymore.
