For the writer ask thing : 2, 4, 13, 15, 27, 35 :)
THANK YOU FOR DOING THE THING!!! <3
02: What was your favorite book growing up?
The āwhenā on this is so important. The one I remember the strongest and has lasted the longest is āFire and Hemlockā by Diana Wynne Jones. Itās still, honestly, my favorite book. I can read it again and again and feel the same excitement as when I read it the very first time.
04: Have you ever thrown a book across the room?
I have not literally thrown a book, but I know I really wanted to while I was reading all four of the A Song of Ice and Fire books that were out at the time. Multiple times. But I was at work when I was reading them and that would have been inappropriate. I literally only read all four of those because I hate giving up on something in the middle. I can respect George R R Martin for his abilities and such, but I really do NOT enjoy his books.
13: Whatās your favorite writing quote?
I donāt really have a quote, but Neil Gaimanās pep talk for NaNoWriMo gives me life.
15: What would you say has inspired you the most?
Reading. It has taught me a great many things, not the least of which being āwow, if this shit can get published, Iām sure I could if I just finished something for onceā
27: Which is your favorite genre to write?
Fantasy mainly, but I love steampunk so I usually try to throw in a twist of that at least.
35: Whatās your favorite time of day for writing?
Evening/night is usually when I do the most writing. Honestly I could write at any point of the day as long as I didnāt have a ton of distractions (as in work, errands, and Tumblr!)
