re: "it's already been said so no one will care about anything I have to say about it.": as your follower, i'm following your platforms, not whoever all else. we're not privy to all of the takes you're seeing, and most of us don't care to be privy— your thoughts and interpretations are what i'm here to see. a take you've seen before is often still new to us. and aside from that, while seeing a new or interesting interpretation is fun and all, so is seeing your thought processes lead you down a trail well-traveled. your tread is still visible among the other footprints. your touch and perspective can make an old path seem novel.
On good days I say exactly that to myself and can go about as normal, but sometimes the old, annoying voices try to tell me otherwise. One of my goals for next year is to get better at the therapy approach--recognizing the lie and consciously correcting it. I'm pretty good at it about other unhelpful thought patterns but I didn't realize until recently how often that one in particular likes to pop up.
Revisiting this message will help me clarify when I need to, thank you anon. <333
