Me: (later) Okay I order dumplings and stir fried rice with broccoli

Roommate: Uh? Why not order like pizza or hamburgers?

Me: You said anything was fine D:

Roommate: Yes, but I thought it was fast food!

Me: It's still fast food

Roommate: But healthy :c

Like an Au of two Japanese Americans trying to fit in and given bad cards in school. They go down different roads of trying to stereotype themselves in an American way (Frats and Nerds).

The Au could be about these two going through that toxic environment, getting out of it, healing and generally finding themselves and being okay with their race, and the fact they don't have to shrink themselves or play the clown, in order to appease people.

(This could go for any frat/nerd character, not just fratjo and nerdjo)

Aus are fun to make, don’t get me wrong. Alternative universes are mwah chef kiss, go and have fun. I like the outcast ideas as much as the next person, and exploring them in America is not really the issue as well, frats are a North American thing, there are a few exceptions in other places like UK and Philippines I think, but yeah, go develop your char, put them through all the things, the struggles, the smut.
