#really really close

The bookshelves in the living room are cleared and torn down. Honest to God, there's maybe four days worth of work left to be done. And that's doing two, three hours a day tops, which is how I've done this so far, because I have the executive function of an orange cat right now.

I am legitimately so close to being done. It's amazing. It's truly amazing. I have never been done packing this fast.

What's left?

I need to move the TV and move the TV stand out and clear out from underneath it; I need to print some stuff out and then pack up the printer; I need to go through the kitchen drawers, the kids' bathroom drawers; I need to throw out a bunch of stuff.

Of course, I haven't packed the rest of the kitchen yet, but that's kind of an issue, because I need the pots and pans I have for the next week and a half. That being said, I'm debating going to the store in a bit (ow with my messed up toe, I can't get my sandals on and my boots HURT) and getting paper plates for the next couple weeks. Then I can just pack the plates I have -- I am buying new plates when I get moved into the apartment, but I'll need a stopgap. Same with my pots and pans. Throwing a bunch of those out though, for certain.

I went through and culled some stuff off my book wishlist last night when I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep, but honestly not a whole lot, and I may add one of those books back, to be honest; I have them on Audible as it is, and I don't need those for research, so I may leave it off.

Pukha and I were just talking about the move and the new beginnings; we've had a lot of talks about it all, to be perfectly honest, and the nice thing, the really amazing thing, is that he and I have agreed from the very beginning, from the very moment that he decided he was coming with us to the Midwest instead of going to the Northeast, that this is going to be good. That we are going to be happy, and this is going to be a good thing for our family as a whole. He's still gonna troll hell out of you, babe, but yeah.
