Helping our daughter move today and of course I have a few houseplants with me. One in the cupholder and some on the floor between my feet. There are many more..she is my daughter after all. I have a dilemma that I have been struggling with for a few weeks now. In the light of all that has been happening in SA, and the constant fear that I think we all feel with regards to our kids’ safety, I have been wondering how safe is it to plaster their images all over social media? Even without divulging info such as your address or where they go to school, is this really how we keep them safe? I love taking their photo, and sharing it here not because I want to “brag” but rather because 1 – so many of our family and friends are far away and this gives them the opportunity to share in the kids’ lives, and 2 – they are such a big part of who I am and since I am trying to be as real and authentic as I can I feel they should be part of the sharing. So know I don’t know – do I keep images such as this one off of social media or do I continue sharing our lives on these platforms.
