Sometimes, you do think about the possibility of just telling him how you feel, to just blurt it out all of the sudden and make sim see just how special he is to you

But Matthias is very closed up, he doesn't talk about feelings, in fact he doesn't talk a lot, and that makes you wonder if staying quiet is not the best think to do, and that's what you do

Little actions he takes sometimes though, make you wonder if perhaps, only perhaps, he can't feel the same as you do

How he from time to time smiles while just looking at you, deeply and in a way like he is about to say something

Days when he would grab your hand when thinking you two are in danger, bring you close to him and protect you with his body

How he would laugh loudly at something you said, in a comfortable manner that would make you smile for hours straight

And yes, Matthias can be a bit rough on the edges, seem like someone who is made of ice as the country he is from

But that's completely a lie

On the inside, he feels deeply, so deeply it more than often ends up hurting him in the end

You only wished to have a chance at loving him, at being there for him

But that would require you admit your feelings for a man you're quite sure doesn't love you back
