Weird week or so around here, got knocked out of a bunch of my normal routines, including scheduling posts here. Lots of ups and downs in ways that are... pretty uninteresting unless you're me, really. I'm fine, just a bit discombobulated (and I got sick too, wheeee).
Anyway, apropos of either nothing or... all that, I've had this song stuck in my head since sometime Monday. Not in a curse songs kind of way, thankfully. Given that Readymade made what's still my reflexive answer to "what's your favourite record?" and "No Longer Ortona" is the first song I ever heard by them (and it kind of blew me away), I would appreciate it staying free of negative associations. I've never known what the song is literally about (looking up "Ortona" mostly got me this, and the lyrics don't really match anything there), but it means a lot to me just the same.
