#readingproblem

1. I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. In college, my friends and I had a recurring joke that I had a pet llama named Paco. However, I would never have a pet llama, they are temperamental creatures and they smell (TRUST ME ON THIS).

2. I love dogs. Love love love dogs. I have two mutts which bring me so much joy: Lola and Pudger. Because I adore pups so much, and because having more can get expensive, I do doggie daycare, that way I can play around with other people’s dogs as much as I want :)

3. I love food. I’m a huge foodie which makes living in Los Angeles amazing. There are so many incredibly delicious places to eat.

4. I’m an avid reader and I’m also a writer. I’m working on my third book (which just happens to be a YA about a feisty 14-year-old), which I’m really excited about! My last book is a retelling on how Peter Pan and Hook met (as kids), before they fell apart. It’s a really fun read, I promise. Pretty dark too ;)

5. I used to act a lot - actually I did that for years in Peru, both on stage and TV, before moving to LA, where I decided to pursue directing for a bit, but eventually settled on writing. I still love acting and directing though.

6. Last one. This one is tricky. Let’s see... Okay. When I was younger, I went from reading Goosebumps to reading Victor Hugo’s ‘Notre-Dame of Paris’ and Dostoevsky’s ‘Brothers Karamazov’. Weird leap, I know. There were barely any YA books back then, which is a shame.
