“Izana… come on, you can’t stay in there forever…” Kakucho call out behind the locked door.

It’s been a year since your marriage; it took place somewhere in the Fall… a Fall wedding. Although; it wasn’t a winter wedding; you were still contempt. Well, course you were! You were happily marrying the man of your “dreams”.

‘Bullllll shit, the man of my dreams; tch, my ass.’ Izana scoffed at his own thought. He was on his couch, changing the channels of the TV. He didn’t really care what it was, he just wanted something to do.

But… You always did wished for “Christmas Weddings”.... or whatever you use to call it.

Izana was going to, and with all his heart; give you that dame dream wedding. But obviously! It ain’t gonna ever happen. So ‘might as well throw that dame dream in the motha fuc- ..freak—…ing trash…’

“Oh right… she didn’t want me saying bad words anymore…” Izana chuckled, as he remembered the memory. You scolded him for saying too much profanity; hell! you even made him keep his word to not think about it.

“Izana! You know no woman will ever want you if you keep using such vile language!” You scolded him. You had your arm around his, as you both walked down the street. You pretty little eyes, look up at him. Trying to convince him somehow.

But; it wasn’t working, how can he take you seriously with such a cute face. All he wanted to do was kiss that little pout off. “Sorry Angel, I just-can’t help it. It’s in my “blood”, my vocabulary. So there’s no way, can’t stop it.” He grins, teasingly.

You scoffed and rolled your eyes. “We’ll don’t go crying to me if the girl of your dreams doesn’t stay by your side. All because of that ugly habit of yours.” You state, looking ahead of the street.

Izana puts his hand over his heart, as he hisses then cringes, at your affirmation. He fakes his heartbreak, but in reality; he was rather amused

“Ah, we’ll shit. There goes my chances-“

“Izana!”

“I’m kidding!” He jokes. He proceeds to take ahold of your cheek, and playfully squish it. A charming smile plastered on his face. You whine in pain and annoyance.

“Anyways,” Izana says, as he lets go of your face. In a loving manner, he gently smooths your cheek; trying to smooth out the pain.

“I saw this new cafe shop that just opened two days ago wanna go check it out-“ Before Izana could even finish his suggestion, you cut him off with you finger being place on his soft lip.

“No, no, no, Mister. Before you start taking me out on dates. You gotta promise me you won’t say anymore bad words from now on. Understood,” You state, without realizing what you called your hangouts a “date”.

“Ooooh, so your taking me out on dates now are we~” Izana mischievously teases you. Stunned by his response, you shook you head in embarrassment. Your cheeks had a cherry hue to it. You hadn’t realized your mistake of calling your hangouts a “date”. Until now…

“Oh! N-no, no, t-that’s not what I meant! W-What I was j-just saying is that I-“ you stutter your words out.

“No, no, no Angel! You said it’s a date. Therefore; it’s a date. No more taking it back~ it’s too late!” Izana cheerfully exclaim. A big smile was on his face, as yours was flushed. He takes your hand off his arm and hold it, he excitedly strolls the stress making his way to the café. With you, by his side.

Now here he is, the exact cafe where you had token him. With some chick Kakucho set him up with.

She was beautiful, he’ll give her that. Her (Hc) curls, reached up to her shoulders. Her hair was parted to the side, as some of her baby hairs would fall on her face.

Her soft orbs, gazes at him. As she smiles lightly; before looking down, proceeding to take a bit of her grilled cheese sandwich. The very same one, you’d order… with a fucking cookie to the side.

Well fuck, it’s like the universe is trying to mock  him. Laughing and spitting at his face; saying he’ll never end up with a true beauty, such as yourself. I guess that’s true; since he’s here now so.

Her soft voice cuts off his train of thought, which he was disappointed with. Since that’s all he wanted to do today… “How’s your sandwich Izana?” She smiled softly, knowing full well he hasn’t even touched it. He shrugs, not really giving her an actual answer.

She thinks nothing of his rude behavior, and again; smiles it off. As if it was nothing….

[[•TIME SKIP•]]

Throughout the whole date, Izana only shrugged off her questions, and gave the poor girl; small answers, to hard questions.

Although; as always, she smiled it off. She Dismissed his attitude, including his rude behavior towards her.

Which kinda really irritates him a bit. ‘Why is she acting like as if I’m not being an asshole to her; maybe it was because you did the exact same, dame, thing. Dame, there’s way too many similarities that she and you had. This frustrated him like no other… but why?

Maybe it was because he was actually enjoying the date…

Maybe because he was actually attracted to this girl…

No, no, no he can’t be.. can he? Was he actually… forgetting about you? Cause.. all he saw.. was her. At that very moment. Or maybe it’s because there’s nothing here that reminds him.. of you.

Was he actually just smiling right now, at her; and not you? He promised himself he’d never smile at anyone but you.

Because that smile only belongs to you…

The girl, smiled up at him, a noticeably pink hue crosses her face. She soft eyes, looks deep into his. Infatuation within them, as they both walked through the familiar park, hand-in-hand.

They both walked along the park, people admiring them from afar. Some whispered what a ‘perfect couple’ they’d make. And Izana believed it.. he actually believed that, they’d make a ‘perfect couple’.

Because, She made sense to him. She didn’t judge him for his past.. that he surprisingly opened up to her. Nor did she mind that he used to be in a gang of criminals…. Hell, even was a leader of one…

She found his dreams of wanting to soon, open up a orphanage for orphan children; very admirable, and beautiful.

Maybe this date wasn’t so bad after all—!

“Oh look Izana! A hidden pond! Let’s go, let’s go!” Bella, exclaim. Taking Izana hand running towards, the said pond.

…oh no..

Why, why of all places did Bella have to choose this one.

But of course; at the same time, he didn’t blame her. It was a very beautiful pond. A pond that belonged to you, and him…. ‘Our little secret’ he remembered.

“I guess our little secret is out now huh?..” Izana thought outloud. As by both stood in front of the said pound..

“Huh? What secret?” Bella questions, as she looks towards Izana, who was looking ahead. Admiring and remembering the day you both discovered it…

You fell in the pond….

“Ahh!!” You screamed in horror, Izana snapped his head looking towards you. He was just peacefully looking around the area, thinking to himself that not many people know about this place.

Izana had tried to quickly catch you from your fall; and failed. You were now soaking wet, you hysterical coughed. Since some of the water went into your.. mouth..

Izana quickly went into the pond with you, and lifts you in the air. Carrying you bridal style, he stood there, letting you catch your breath.

He started to make his way out of the pond, making attentive steps along the way. As he made it out, he looked towards the pond; and noticed a small stick, sticking up.

“Really (Yn). A stick made you slip?” He mocks, as he carefully, sat you down on the grass; his jacket being placed on your shoulders.

“Oh I’m sorry! I just somehow didn’t notice a invisible stick! That’s literally blends with nature!” You huffed, pulling his jacket close to you.

Izana only rolled his eyes. He then proceeded to smirks at you. “What the hell are you smirking at!” You asked or more like shout.

Is he literally making fun of you at this time right now! “Oh It’s nothing Angel, just thinking about how I’m gonna warm you up tonight-“

“Oh shut up your dame pervert!” You exclaimed, your face was bright red. He only chuckled and started to say he’s sorry, he just really enjoys teasing you.

“You’re not teasing me! You’re just being a pervert! You-you dame pervert!” You shout in frustration. You couldn’t think of an good come back to say to him.

He smiles, as he pulls you closer to him. You snuggled against him; both enjoyed the moment, admiring how the sunset aluminates the lake.

Izana felt like he was in a dream. With his dream girl.

As you both kept admiring the lake, you were slowly dozing off to the sound of his heartbeat; beating, softly against your ear.

Izana felt your head leaned against his shoulder. He looked down at your figure, noticing how you had fallen asleep on him. He smiled softy, he slowly; and gently, sneaks his arm around your shoulders. Pulling you closer; you head slightly falls a little backwards, you sleepy face; unintentional, looks up at him.

At the time, all Izana could do was admire you. He softy gazing down at you; he gently cresses your face with the back of his hand.

Izana quickly takes a look around, and then back at you.

He gently moves some of your hairs off your sleepily face, putting it behind your ear. He pulls you a little closer, adjusting yours and his face.

He had noticed that your lips had slightly parted itself a little. Most likely for a bit of air…

With that being noticed, Izana shyly placed his lips against yours.

All he wanted to do was to stop time, keep it like this, and never leave it.

The soft kiss lasted for a very long while, that was until you both jumped at the sound of a fire work exposition.

Quick as it happened, Izana jumped and fell backwards on the grass. He held the back of his hand over his mouth, a slight red hue on his cheeks. He looked up at the trees leaves, which were suddenly started to softy fall down one by one.

“Oh Izana! Did you see that! It’s a fire work! I forgot the fire work festival is today! Come on come on! Let go watch it!” You excitedly jumped up, and walked towards Izana; pulling him up.

You stated running to the direction of fires explorations with Izana holding into his hand. As you were talking to him, Izana zoned out for a bit.

He swore on his life, he felt you leaning in; kissing him back.

[[•PRESENT TIME: THE LAKE•]]

“Izana…”

The sound of his name being called out, snapped him out of his memory. Izana looks down at Bella, who had a frown plaster on her face.

She lightly sighs, and gently looks up at him. And suddenly, she smiles at him. It was a sad smile,

“Izana… you know…”

Bella starts, bitting her bottom lip softly; trying to control her emotions. “You know, a woman know when a man looks into her eyes and sees someone else.”

Izana stays quite. He can’t really argue with that, because it’s true. When he stares Bella, he sees (Yn); and there’s really nothing else but her.

“It’s okay… she… must’ve been real special, for you to always doze off.. twenty four seven huh..” Bella sadly smiles. She sighs and looks away, she gazes at the pond, and chuckles a little.

Izana looks at her questionably,

“No need to worry; or look at me with those scary eyes, I’m not laughing at you. Just a memory I had..” She confirms. She turns her body fully to pond, and admire how beautiful the place was.

“You’ve must’ve token her here too, you keep looking around; as if you remember something…” Bella stares ahead, as she says that.

As she stares at the lake, she suddenly turns and proceeds to walk away… leaving but stops mid way and looked back at Izana with a serious expression.

“You’ve lost your girl once.” She says firmly, she fully turns her head and body towards the man.

“Now it’s up to you to get her back.”

Izana was token aback by her words, “What are you on?” Izana snaps, He glared at her with irritation. Not liking that she’s melding in business that’s doesn’t concern her.

“Nothing, other than your business.” Bella snaps back. Again Izana was token aback by her sudden  attitude. “Izana, why don’t you shut up! And let me do the talking. I don’t know what your deal is today, but it’s obviously that you don’t want to be here.”

Bella…she’s a bold one…

“So why don’t you get your shit together and do something about it. Instead of wasting your dame life sulking, as a matter of fact. Why don’t you drink until your drunk that way you can spill all your little secrets out!” And with that being said, Bella pats Izana’s back and head off home. Leaving an stunned man behind.

‘She’s right what the hell am I even doing?’ Izana groans, as he too started heading off home. Exhausted by the event that happen today. Might as well call Kakucho while he’s at it huh…

“Hey, pick me up. The date? Not exactly how you planned it’ll go…. Uh.. well, let’s just say I need a dame drink.” And with that he ended the call, going to the place he told Kakucho to meet him at.

‘Why do you have to be everywhere…’ Izana sighs, he only hopes that this dame drink will help him forget.

But unbeknownst to him… it only cause him even more trouble…

His eyes linger on your figure as you talked your heart away…. Your lips… all he wanted was to shut your mouth angrily against his. He watched as you happily blew on your tea, and proceeded to take a sip.

You kept bringing up your upcoming wedding day, asking him to come to it… and yet again; he refused. “Aww come on! Why not Izana? You’re my best friend. And I want my best friend to be there!” You exclaim, hoping that; that’ll convince him. Unfortunately, it didn’t.

He smirks at you and shook his head before taking your half of the hunny bun. “Hey!”

“Sorry Angel, I’m really busy that day. So I can’t attend your big day.” He lied. “But, I’ll be there before the day comes. You count on that.” You pout, but softy smile. Appreciating he can at least make time to come before the event.

Once you were done with your lunch. You both stood up from your seats and headed your way out of the coffee shop.

Although; still disappointed, you slowly started to smile as you thought of an idea. “Hey. I know that look. Don’t even think about it.”

“Huh? What do you mean? I wasn’t thinking about anything?” You looked away, trying to hide your face.

He’d tease you, making you think he’s leaning in for a kiss. Only for you to get embarrassed when he stops and makes fun of you….

…. You’d pout and turn your back to him. The covers would slip down to your hips, making you cold and slightly shift….

Izana would pull you close to him. Trapped in his arms; he peppering kissing on the back of your nape, and cheeks as an apology…

You’d eventually forgive him, and turn to place your lips on his. Softly moving your lips against his, hearts thumping and blood pumping…

Regardless; he thought he was making his feelings clear. Clearly I didn’t work…

… ‘Well it’s not like it matters anymore…’ Izana thought, as he sadly gazes at you walking down the aisle… his hopes and dreams… shattered as he watches you kiss your now ‘husband’. Happy cheers and falling flower petals ran down on you.

All Izana can see was you… being happy… with someone that isn’t him… and he doesn’t like it.. he hates it…

One would usually be happy for someone’s else big day. And yet, here he is; a small frown grace his face. It was quickly hidden with a fake smile when you turn to him.

That smile… it felt bidder sweet to him. It was a smile of happiness, not a smile of someone in love. Someone that you’d smile at, when your in love with them… but you weren’t in love with him.

You were someone else’s and he didn’t want that, he hated it. He despises it, he wanted to rip you away from your hus- No, that stranger. Take you away from him, steal you away. Make you his. And his alone.

You slammed yourself onto your bed, took the nearest pillow, and screamed onto it. You kicked your feet like a child, you were far too embarrassed for what had happened earlier today.

You whined on your pillow. As you did, you heard your bedroom door open. You looked to the side, your cheek still on the pillow as you watched your mother invite herself in.

She had a slight smile on her face, “Ma, please don’t make fun of me!” You wined. In a slouching position; You sat yourself up and faced her.

“Oh no! It’s okay you don’t have to do that. I can clean it up!” You quickly cut yourself off, when you finally looked up at him. Oh my goodness… his strawberry blond locks fall upon his face, as his delicate features focus on cleaning up your mess.

Oh my gosh! He’s-

“Beautiful…” unbeknownst to you… you had said your thoughts out loud.

“Hm? Excuse me?” He looks up, and raises his brow in confusion and surprise…

“Hm?”

“Huh? Did you call me..… beautiful?”

‘,… oh shit… I said that out loud??!!’,

Ah….today is just not your day is it now (Yn)… first you bumped into him.. spill the drinks on his clothes. And then call him beautiful!? And now you’re bumping heads too!?? Can this day get worse and more embarrassing!

Your face was flushed as you continued to quickly clean up the mess. The “beautiful” man didn’t pay any kind to your flushed face. He didn’t want to embarrass you any more than you already have. Or at least that’s what you thought.

‘Cute’ was all the thought, before he smiled softy, and helped you up the floor.

“See ya later!” He cheerfully states. As he walked off.

• When you let him do your haircut. Atsushi wasn’t a well-known hairdresser yet. You were his first-ever customer and he was very happy that you were, other than Takemichi.

When doing your hair, he’s very gentle and focused on making it look perfect and beautiful because a perfect person deserves a perfect hair cut Is what always says making you delighted and giddy about it.

Once he was done, he complement his hard work, he did very well for a first-timer but your sure he practiced a lot when he was young and it sure paid off, you showed off your haircut and gave him all the credit. Suddenly everyone stared coming to his hair solan and we’re pleased with the results. Suddenly he started gaining popularity and applicants seeking the job. He was happy that his hard work paid off, and he couldn’t do it without it.

“Now I call this, the angels hair style! A beautiful hair style for a wonderful person like yourself.”

• When you call him by his gang nickname Gang-dex, for some odd reason he gets all shy and fluster at his gang name when you call him it. You supposed that it was the acknowledgment of his wits of gangs and because of his flustered attitude, you tease him a lot.

He freaking swears he can feel himself melting as you called him Gang-dex you found it very adorable at how flustered he gets when you do.

“Hey, Gang-Dex~ Isn’t it a lovely day today to do the so-called “Gang stuff” you always talk about I’m sure it’ll be fun,” you giggled at his flustered face.

• When you go to his favorite spot…. the school infirmary…. you sometimes question his favorite spot to yourself.. why the infirmary of all places? I mean it’s so…. bland, but you don’t think much of it.

You Just enjoy the moment with him with cuddles in the infirmary bed but you, couldn’t take the question not being answered so you polity asked about it.

“It’s because it’s the only place I’m able to freely have alone time with you. I want to spend a whole day with you without interruption and just cuddle with you all day,”

• When you complement his eyes believe it or not, He's a little insecure about his eyes. He feels like your able to see his sinful past if you were to stare too long at them.

His eyes tell a story of a small unfortunate child who lost his brother at a young age and became nothing in life, as he grow older, but when you came along and told him otherwise.

“Mikey you have lovely eyes so please don’t feel ashamed of them because I can’t ever seem to look away,”

• When you trace his tattoo with your finger he feels the lingering feeling of your finger tip tracing the side of his head, drawing his tattoos. He can almost feel himself losing his mind at how soft your touch was.

He wanted to stop time and enjoy this small moment with you for as long as possible, he really needed this after a long and stressful day of dealing with Mikey and Takemichi causing trouble.

“I’m here if you ever need to vent hun,”

• When you help with designs Mitsuya loves designing clothes for you and sewing them himself. He dose this with ever opportunity he get’s and you look so fashionable gorgeous with ever one of his designs.

So when you asked him to teach you how to make them, he was ecstatic!

You stood in front of him as he stood behind you, his head on your shoulders instructing and guided your hands, Takashi couldn’t help but thought this was a beautiful moment to share with you.

He felt pure happiness swarm in his gut as you gently snipped the cloth but stoping mid way so you can wrapped his arms around you and continued with the task at hand.

“We should do this again Kashi I love doing the things you love, because; it makes me happy and I enjoy your company,”

• When you nuzzle noses he never been in a relationship before so he honestly doesn’t know what he was doing at first. Or more like at all, but hey give him a little credit for at least trying alright, since he thinks he’d be a bad kisser he nuzzled your nose with his.

He was really shy about it so he closed his eyes, pulled you close and rubbed your nose with his. You giggled at his shyness but also happy to know that he loves you.

“Chi, these are the best kisses I’ve ever received baby. Thank you,”
