Drunk [ You ] and Marcus: shots and pool table
Marcus Thorne fanfic based on that place I saw today.
• You and your friends went to this place that opens day and night. It's your first time ever coming to such a place, but you know how playing billiards work so this shouldn't be a problem.
And what a surprise that the one owning the place is Marcus Thorne, The champion of the billard halls. It's shocking yes but something about his lion and atoms hybrid caught your attention in fascinating curiosity while your friends are excited or optimistic about playing pool.
Marcus greets all of you in an indifferent manner as if not showing interest in any of your excitement and challenges, You noticed he's observing you and your friends from left, right and top to bottom until his eyes stay targeted at you. His straightforward gaze at you is like a cat finally found their target, This left you in a stun as you are locking eyes with him unexpectedly.
This all snaps back to reality once one of your friends asked about playing billiards and betting. Marcus slowly closes his eyes and then looks at your friend who says that, He then rolled his eyes as he settled the pool table like the master of blackjack on the table of cards.
As you observed the area while Marcus settles the game, You noticed that not only does Marcus own the pool table place, but there's a bar too which was a surprise. Marcus explains that people tend to visit this place not only for playing pool tables but for drinks too whether they are drunk or sober as the thrill of playing against their friends is the best part.
Marcus finished setting up the pool table and Your friend bought some drinks from his bar and makes a bet.
" Whoever loses takes a shot of alcohol and challenges someone once they are drunk "
Your other friends were concerned about how the outcome may go but your friend who bought the beer brushed off the concerns and insisted that it would be fun.
You are concerned about the alcohol but the friend who bought insisted that things won't go bad, One or a few sips won't hurt right?
The game of pool table begins as Marcus observes from the bar table as this round is between you and your friends. You all had a shot and played several matches until one of you are drunk, Unfortunately you are the quickest one to get drunk since you didn't know you are actually very weak with alcohol, But you brushed off that concern as you challenged them out of spite without knowing you were really drunk. Some of Your friends are concerned about you while the others are already out or left to get home.
You felt victorious yet dizzy as everything around you started to distort, You pointed your stick like a spear to the one Infront of you to challenge them in the duel, Not knowing it's actually Marcus Thorne as all of your friends went to assist the ones who are already black out to get home early, Leaving you alone with him.
Marcus looks at you in surprise but chuckles at that challenging tone while being drunk alone makes you look like a fool, He comments on your perseverance despite looking like you're about to blackout any minute now.
Regardless, He accepts your foolish challenge and starts a new round with a new betting.
" We'll be here until you win the round, Got it? "
You couldn't audibly hear what he's saying but you agreed anyways since your mind has long drifted to excitement and the thrill of being challenged to whatever situation it may be.
This isn't usually the " you " that you show to your friends, It's yourself showing the true colors to someone whom you are so fascinated by.
The game went on until who knows how long, You were about to claim victorious in a match until your drunk senses trembled your focus and movement that you hit the cue to black 8 instead of the last Stripe green 4.
" How unfortunate... " He implies with the tone of fake pity. " Guess we'll be staying here for as long as possible "
Gasping, Bending over at the pool table as your vision starts to distort so much from all that alcohol.
" You're getting weak " he added as he comes close to you with his tail tickling your leg.
You turned around and held onto his shoulders as you layed foolishly on the pool table saying nonsense to nonsense which are but audible sounds to his ears
Until he caught you confessing what you thought about him and how you timidly express that feeling without giving a second thought how that will affect the one in front of them.
Marcus stood in silence as he savoured those words of truthful confession coming from someone who literally shows their true colors that they tend to hide.
They start spouting nonsense to each other, teasing as they're both on the pool table,
Each word to each other is like guessing which is real and which is not.
This went on until You held onto his face lightly, admiring every feature from him. From his scars to his eyes, you adore each thing you were still able to see before you give him a kiss from the lips.
→ Things go wild from here on now ←
When sunrise came and you finally came to your senses, The place you are currently in isn't the pool and bar place anymore but rather someone's house, You tried to process what happened last night and get up until you noticed that Marcus was holding onto you intently like a lover who wished not to let go of this moment.
You tried to get up but he keeps pulling you back to him while he's still asleep, This became a dilemma....
Oh well, hopefully your friends just thought you returned home too because now you'll have to find out how to get out of Marcus' grasp while also processing what happened that day.
