Is it wrong that I get turned off from fic simply because the writing sounds too much like, well, writing? Like it's good. Complete sentences, good grammar (probably better grammar than my own work), but it's just so obviously WRITTEN. I don't know how to describe it. But it's like I can't see the scene play out or feel any of the emotions in it because of all the words I have to read, and it bugs the crap out of me. This is probably just my problem. I'm probably being a picky asshole. :/
