#reader insert headcanon

A/N: The amount of FTM reader inserts I've seen on Ao3 gave me the push to write as openly FTM. This is my first writing for this fandom, but I'll write more and I'll take requests. :)

Being the Wild West, going stealth is the only safe option. It takes time to learn who is trustworthy enough to risk your life around when injury means outing. Arthur is not the gossip type, and your preference for him doesn't hurt either.

He finds out on a mission. Your torso gets injured, and it doesn't leave much of a choice. Arthur gives enough of a rat's ass to prefer helping you than allowing you to potentially get injured further.

He might not even question it at first. Not his business. Until the chest bindings have to come off, and he's admittedly confused. Still, you have an open wound, so that explanation is not exactly top priority.

He's heard of trans people*, but he doesn't understand what it entails. As a good friend, Arthur would rather understand than rat you out based on a moral dictionary he barely even follows himself, and would say as much.

He could empathize with the feelings of displacement, self-loathing, even your gender euphorias to an extent. It feels good to be a man, sometimes.

You wouldn't ask, but he might find himself giving you advice on passing better out of a natural urge to protect you. Secrets are vulnerabilities, and he cares about not losing you. Square your hips, smoke a cigarette before you speak to lower your voice. Simple things that avoid complex questions.

His sexuality isn't something either of you question much. Despite his objections, the society Arthur was raised in still influences him. Who is to say past fancies haven't been mistaken for platonic admiration? He thinks of it more, now, but he'd rather it be simple to love you.

You first met Aemond in your Politics in the Republic course

You were almost late and the only seat was next to him towards the back

He huffed, much to his annoyance of the person scooting behind him

No matter what class Aemond is, he will always try to be in the seat somewhat close to the exit

Aemond’s lecture notebooks are the fancy Japanese stationery notebooks. All in the same beige color. He only carries two pens

The Professor in the Republics course enjoyed cold calling on people, it wasn’t until the middle of the semester when Aemond would whisper the answer to you under his breath if you were stuck

The thing was…you were not stuck. You were not stupid. You just were not as quick as Aemond, which slowly sparked an academic rivalry

One day you showed up early to class, going over your highlighted course required books

The class filled in and Aemond thought you were absent, so he took his book bag off your seat — no need to reserve it. That was…until the professor had called on you and your answer was lightning fast

You did not sit next to him for the remainder of the year. You never saw him much after that class. You found out early in the semester he was a History and International Relations Double Major with a Philosophy Minor

One day when you were walking past the Business buildings, he bumped into another man with hair as icy blonde as his

“Hey what song are you listening to?” The shorter man said

“Leave me alone,” Aemond replied

“Alright! See you at home bitch!”

Aemond’s brother is the guy that interviews people on campus and does ridiculous “pranks” — very different brothers. It wasn’t until later when you also found out they also had a sister. Helaena, who’s the president of the Entomology Club

A year later, you and Aemond are in another class together. It was an Empires course that was a requirement for both of your majors. It was a smaller class size and instead of a final examination - the final is a presentation and a paper. The professor paired everyone by two and it just so happened that you were paired together

For the presentation, you were tasked to explore any empire of your choice so long as it was not taken. You both came to a long standing back and forth. Until you both agreed on the Byzantine Empire

You both started early on the research and presentation, at first getting to know each other at cafes until you took up whole study rooms in the library

During the last few weeks of the semester the study rooms were under renovation and the tables in the library were getting too crowded. “We could head back to my place,” He suggested. “Helaena will be there so we won’t be all alone or anything,” You agreed.

His place was nice, the Targaryen siblings commuted to campus. Understandable considering they live in luxury. The dormitories were shit

Later on in the night, at some impossible hour and you were still there you offhandedly said “How are you holding up. I’m not quick enough for you,”

“What?” He asked. “What are you talking about,”

“In class, you always gave me the answers. I knew them you know. I’m not stupid,”

A pause and then a realization. “Oh…that class. I never thought you were stupid,” He sighed. “I apologize for that impression. That is entirely my fault,” He fiddled with his hands. “I figured you were mad at me and I was scared if I offended you somehow. I guess I know why now. I missed having you sit with me,”

After the presentation was over, both of you got an A. All of your hard work and research pulled off. Aemond needed help on his essays but other than that, it was a smooth

Aemond offered to take you out to dinner to “celebrate the hard work” after that, you both texted each other over the break. It slowly went from “how are you?” to him sending pictures of his lizards

“Oh fuck how do I?” He said as he fiddled flipping the camera. His phone was positioned low and you laughed. “Oh I think I got it,” He said as FaceTime view went from the bottom of his face to his lizard tank. “This is my oldest one, her name is Vhagar”

“I don’t think I’ve seen your room before,” You said at 3 am

“Yeah. It’s on an opposite wing. Halaena’s bugs stay far away from my lizards,” He joked. “When you come back, I’ll give you a tour if you wish. I missed you,”

Your heart skipped a beat. He saw your eyes widen and he only realized what he said. He quickly ended the call and threw it on the bed.

He paced around the room and not a minute later his phone lit up. All it read from you was, “I missed you too. Let’s hang out soon,”

He texted back, “Sorry my phone died. Yes we can plan something soon,”

“Fast charger,” You texted back. His face was hot. “Goodnightttt”

BEING NATE’S YOUNGER SIBLING AND DATING RUE: 

Rue keeps her distance from you before you even get to know one another

Your brother already has one hell of a reputation, and Rue figures she doesn’t want anything to do with the Jacobs family 

Nate’s reputation puts you at a disadvantage for multiple reasons, but it most definitely does with Rue, since you have a crush on her but can’t even talk to her 

You’ve seen her around at school, and despite all the rumours about her addiction and overdose going around school, you think she’d be cool

Plus, you also think she’s really cute

You finally get to talk to her one night when you’re buying from Fez

Fez is well acquainted with you and your brother, seeing as the both of you buy from him

Although, he knows your purchases are a lot more intense than what Nate’s buying

You made him and Ashtray swear not to tell your brother though, because you know he’ll get mad at you

Plus, being around your family always feels super suffocating, so this feels like the one little bit of freedom you have

Rue is almost surprised to see you at Fez’s, considering she didn’t know that you were a user 

You get talking, and much to Rue’s relief, she finds out you’re nothing like your brother

“I thought you’d be more...” “What, like Nate?” “Yeah, I don’t know.” “Nate’s a dick. I can’t believe we’re related.” “Well. Good to know not everyone in the family is an asshole.” 

You start hanging out more at school and at parties, which is when Nate begins to notice you getting close to Rue

He absolutely does not approve of you getting close to Rue, and he’ll constantly be in your business

Nate doesn’t want you falling down the path that Rue went down, but you just want him to leave you alone

“Why don’t you worry more about Maddy dumping your ass instead of my own relationships?” “Low blow. Even for you, y/n.”

You and Rue confessing your feelings to one another at a party after you get high 

You’re both too nervous to do it sober, and afterwards, you tentatively try to start a relationship

Admittedly, even you can admit you’re not the best influence on each other

Although the both of you can understand one another on a level that no one else really can, it can also be to your detriment

You know Rue just got out of rehab, but you’ve got your own issues that you’re struggling with, and sometimes the two of you can be enabling to each other

You and Rue want to help one another, but addiction is hard to navigate

Defending one another from rumors and gossip at school, because you know everyone just loves to talk and spread things around

You’re very protective of one another and refuse to take shit from anyone around you

Nate has most definitely tried to threaten Rue into staying away from you

He twists it in a way that makes her feel like you’re better off without her, but once you catch wind of what Nate’s doing, you immediately interfere

“I’m going to make this as simple as I can so that even you can understand. I’m just trying to look out for my sibling, and I don’t want you to ruin their life.”

Even though Rue hates to admit when someone’s gotten into her head, Nate does get into her head a little bit

“I mean, maybe he’s right, maybe—” “Rue, hey, listen to me, okay? Fuck Nate, seriously. You’re the only person I want, alright? Nothing’s going to change that.” 

This is based on some conversation in The Otherside roleplay server. Reader can be any gender.

- The first time you see him crying, really crying, it takes you by surprise. And while Beetlejuice normally isn’t the type to show “weakness” quite this openly, he can’t help but throw himself toward you. Crying into your shoulder.

- His crying is honestly really gross. He blubbers loudly and he sobs and there’s definitely some drool and snot. It isn’t pretty at all, let alone sexy.

- At first you just offer support, calm him through it. Rubbing his back and letting him cry on you and petting his hair and listening to him despite not understanding a word he says.

- When he starts to calm down, he just sits with you, leaning on you. And he’s not the one to make the first move. It needs to be you.

- It starts with soft kisses to his lips of course, some on his cheek. It starts innocent of course, but Beetlejuice being Beetlejuice, it doesn’t take long for it to become more passionate. Needier.

- When you go further with him, it’s you taking the lead. Soft kisses on his cheek and neck, assuring him that you love him. That you’re here for him and that he’s gonna be ok. You undress him, and he undresses you. He’s feeling better already. And willing to let you take care of him.

- He’s glad to let you ride him gently, to hold his hands and kiss him while you roll your hips and tell him how good he is. He’s vocal himself, moaning under you and thanking you for, well, everything.

- Towards the end, neither of you are talking. It’s all just soft kisses and little noises. When he gets close, he squeezes your hands. And you finally speak again, telling him he can finish everywhere he wants. He decides to finish inside you, not wanting you to stop touching him for even a second

Sakusa Kiyoomi hands headcanon:

Okay this man, the one and only germaphobe, puts hand sanitizer on constantly and washes his hands a crazy amount like we all know this right?

But the thing is his hands must be soooooo dry like I mean cracked on the knuckles dry, because all that soap and sanitizer just sucks all moisture outta skin

So now all I can picture is you seeing these cracks and dry spots on his hands and groaning when he keeps on putting more hand sanitizer on

And you’re like???? Honey that is definitely not helping the situation you need some lotion

And he’s just like, well whenever I put something on my hands you can bet your ass it’s gonna be hand sanitizer

Like this man will refuse to put anything else on he will be like why put something on my hands if it’s not gonna disinfect them??? He has not heard of lotion

Sooooo what you’re gonna do is buy a special lotion that smells really clean and practically smells just like soap

And when you’re laying together in bed before heading to sleep you’re gonna grab his hands and just lather those suckers up

He will of course try to pull away but you give him a death glare practically killing him with your eyes because at this point his hands are practically bleeding because of how dry they’ve gotten

So he relents and just let’s you do you’re thing

But the thing is once you get going and you have started to really rub in the lotion on his hands you don’t really stop, you just turn it into a hand massage while adding more lotion

And he’s like in pure heaven like head resting on his pillow, eyes closed as he groans softly while you work out any tension

You’re digging the pads of your thumbs into his palm and he’s an athlete you know he’s gotta have some sore hands from working out

And of course he’s touch starved, the man tries to limit any and all contact so of course he is blissed out whenever you start doing the lotion massages which become a nightly routine at the point

Though he will try to not let it show how much he enjoys them he has an image to protect you know? And he didn’t want to admit that his hands needed the lotion even tho they desperate did

After couple days of you grabbing his hands and lotioning then up before heading the bed the cracks start to heal, and his hands aren’t too dry anymore

The thing is after a while though, he brings the lotion to you in like the middle of the day and you’re like what??? He always put on a little show of showing his “dislike” of lotion huffing and puffing once you pulled out the lotion at night

But now in the middle of the day he has the bottle of lotion his hands and he’s just smiling at you sheepishly

Avoiding eye contact he just hands you the bottle and asks if you would lotion his hands up

How would Rossi (criminal minds ) react to reader who doesn't like to sleep because they have nightmares? Then like one night they fall asleep standing up and he takes them to bed and comforts them when they have a nightmare. Thank you so much I really enjoy and love your writing. 🤍

He likes it! He’s pretty touch starved so being held tightly makes him tense up a bit at first but he quicky relaxes into your touch and, if you’re shorter than him, pulls you on top of him so that your head lays on his chest. Sometimes he’ll press a soft kiss against your hair.

However, he also enjoys being the little spoon, especially if you’re taller or around the same height as him. If you pepper his neck with little kisses as you snuggle against his back you can watch his ears turn red and hear him let out embarassed grunts.

L = Love(When do they say they love you? How often do they say it? Do they prefer to say or show it?)

These words mean a lot to him and when you hear them you just know that he wholeheartedly means them. He only says them when the two of you are alone, always making sure he’s looking you in the eyes before he gently cups your face and pulls you closer.
