From the Fall Prompt List, will you please do sitting by a bonfire with mc!Nick x reader? Love this au and couple.
The crackling fire sent tiny embers into the darkening sky and as the temperature began to drop you cuddled closer into Nick’s side. His kutte was body warm and buttery under your ear and within a moment a blanket was being offered to you by one of the prospects. You caught the quick head jerk from Nick as you straightened up and his eyes shifted from the prospect to you as he unfolded the blanket and wrapped it loosely around your shoulders.
“This is nice,” you murmured, almost afraid to speak the words aloud. It felt like if you gave words to how nice this was then something would come crashing in and ruin the moment.
“Yeah. We used to do this more. Before…” Nick’s voice trailed off, but you filled in the blanks mentally yourself. Before. “It’s something we need to get back to. At the end of the day, this club is about family, loyalty, protection.”
“What, you don’t think parties at the club house invoke the same feeling?” you teased a little. He shifted his arm around you and squeezed slightly in retaliation, pulling a giggle from you.
“This is a little more family friendly, at the very least,” he replied in a dry tone.
There were some kids around, running around the clearing and playing what appeared to be an elaborate game of tag. Someone else had pulled out a guitar and was strumming a never ending song full of notes that danced as much as the flames. You hadn’t known what to expect when Nick told you the club was holding a bonfire on Friday, but this exceeded even your wildest half thought. It was warm and familial, loud of course, but none of the typical sloppiness that leaked from a night in the club house on a weekend. Or a weekday, to be honest, depending on what was going on at the time.
“Did you do a lot of these growing up, too?”
“Once a month when Samuel was president,” Nick answered quietly. He shifted again and you regretted saying anything. Samuel was still a sore point.
“Next time we’ll have to bring marshmallows,” you said lightly.
At that Nick chuckled and you could hear the sound of his beard on leather as he shook his head.
“Don’t know about all that, my love. We are still a motorcycle club.”
“Motorcycle clubs don’t like s’mores?”
“I’ll get you a bag and we can roast some at the house,” he promised in lieu of answering.
You pouted a little and he tilted your chin up for a kiss.
“I’ll even spring for the fancy graham crackers.”
“And the fancy chocolate,” you added immediately with a smile and another kiss.

Can you do - "shh, it's ok. It was just a dream" with mc!Nick x Reader A, please?
if you head to the mc!au masterlist with nick, this comes relatively early on between ‘club business’ and ‘becoming his old lady.’ figured we could use a bit more of what they were like before all of the shit hit the fan, eh?
-------
You cried out and jerked, tumbling between slumber and wakefulness abruptly with a gasp as you half sat up in the bed. The first thing you noticed was the darkness of the room and your heart continued to hammer as the vestiges of the nightmare clung onto you. You squeezed your eyes shut tightly and propped yourself up in with one arm. With your free hand you scrubbed over your face and concentrated on your breathing and the sounds of the house. It was the middle of the night, but you could still make out the hum of the air conditioner and the sound of crickets outside the window. They helped ground you back to reality and you slowed your breathing incrementally.
“Hey.”
The word was spoken quietly and gently, but you startled and gasped again, pulling away from Nick’s hand instinctively before you allowed yourself to relax into his grip. His touch on your arm was hesitant and he made to back off, but you sagged into him before he could.
“Sorry,” you whispered. You cleared your throat and shook your head at yourself. His skin was warm under your forehead and you used that to ground you even further.
“Shh, it’s okay,” Nick soothed as he brought his hand back up to his arm. He began a slow sweep up you arm and then down your back. “It was just a dream.”
“Nightmare,” you mumbled into his chest.
You’d been having it more frequently. It was difficult to remember the substance of it, but you knew it had something to do with Nick being injured. Him being shot had sent you into a tailspin of realization how real all of this club stuff was. It wasn’t just loud bikes and leather and Lawrence being a dick, what Nick was involved in—lead—was dangerous. Part of that reality check made you want to pull away and the other part had you clinging on for dear life.
“Want to talk about it?” He continued in his steady sweeps along your skin. “Always makes me feel better, the times I talk about it.”
You sucked in a shaky breath and exhaled slowly. “It’s about you.” Nick stiffened under you and you pushed him back into the bed in order for you to lay across his chest. He wrapped his arms around you tentatively and he wrapped your own around him in a tight grip. “About you getting hurt.”
He hummed, but didn’t say anything at first.
“I’m not going anywhere, princesa,” he settled on finally.
You made a disgruntled noise and picked your head up to try to look him in the eye. He was looking down at you steadily, no hint of concern or uncertainty in his expression.
“I don’t want to lose you.” Your voice cracked and you bit your lip hard. Nick brought up a hand to your face and dragged his thumb across your cheek. “Okay? Just—take care of yourself, please. For me?”
He drew you closer to his face and pressed a kiss to your forehead. His stubble scratched across your skin and you screwed your face up a little in the hint of a smile.
“I will. Don’t have plans for going anywhere,” he reassured you quietly. “Come on, go back to sleep. Promise I’ll be here when you wake up.”
You pulled back to look at him again.
“Promise?”
You squirmed up for a proper kiss and he framed your face as he brought his lips to yours.
“Promise.” Another kiss. “I’ll even make you breakfast in the morning.”
“Waffles?” you asked with a tile of your head and another smile.
“Waffles, eggs, bacon.” He punctuated each item with a kiss. “Lay back down and let me hold you until you go to sleep. Sweet dreams only and then breakfast in bed when you wake up. I’ll take care of you.” He tugged you down into a sleeping position and wrapped his arms around you. Another kiss dropped to the top of your head before he adjusted the sheets around you. “I promise.”
Please do "it's clearly not nothing" for Veronica x Cameron? What did they find after Cameron tracked Reader b's phone? This au is so addictive.
takes place where this left off: [Questions] enjoy!
Veronica eased off the accelerator and onto the brake as they caught another red light. She was jittery and her fingers drummed against the steering wheel as her thoughts raced. Every other one told her to turn around, to call Razor, to let someone else deal with this. But they didn’t even know if this was a ‘this’ and if Razor found out she was talking to Cameron he’d probably hit the roof. She glanced over at Cameron and they were staring at their phone with a frown. They tapped at something and before Veronica could ask the light was turning green again.
“It still there?”
Anything to fill the silence. She’d switched off the radio as soon as they had slid into the car.
“Mmhmm,” Cameron hummed before glancing over. She could feel their gaze on the side of her face. “Still there. No change.”
Veronica nodded and continued to peer out the windshield. She knew vaguely where she was going, having been to the lake less than half a dozen times when she was still living here as a teenager. That was before she’d stopped being invited to parties and hangouts. She pushed the memories of loneliness back and bit her bottom lip hard to distract herself. Another thought floated up as they caught the next light. It was niggling and it had taken her several long minutes of driving before it had tried to surface.
“Is this some kind of…set up?” She turned to face Cameron in order to study their face when they replied. “A trap or something? Because if anything happens to me, Razor will kill you.” She spoke the words calmly, but fingered her keychain dangling from the ignition. The hard plastic of her pepper spray was comforting to her and she fought to keep her face impassive.
Cameron shook their head. “This isn’t a set up. What kind of—I’m telling the truth, Veronica. I think something’s wrong.”
“Hmm.” Veronica tilted her head and continued to study Cameron’s face, searching for any ticks that would indicate less than truthfulness.
“The light is green.” Cameron gestured at the windshield, but Veronica made no move to continue on.
“Why should I believe you?”
The car behind them blared their horn, but Veronica didn’t budge.
“What the—why would I lie about this? What benefit could I—Jesus!” Cameron stumbled over their words and startled back against the door when the car behind them swerved around them, still laying on their horn and swearing out the window. Veronica didn’t even turn.
“I don’t know how your mind words, Cameron. I’m not a—”
“This is real, okay?” Cameron cried as they threw their hands in the air. They fumbled with their phone and thrust it in Veronica’s face. “It’s clearly not nothing. What, do you want me to jump out the car and strip? Prove I have no weapons!?”
Veronica was silent long enough that Cameron’s eyes started to bug out of their head and they reached for the bottom of their shirt. Finally, Veronica looked away and shook her head. The light was yellow now, but she accelerated the car and starting moving in the same direction again.
“I’m tired of this shit,” she muttered under her breath, more to herself than anyone else.
They drove the rest of the way in silence. Her headlights cut through the growing darkness and as they edged nearer she slowed. In a split second decision she turned her headlights off when they were a mile away, nearly inching down the road before drawing to a stop just on the other side of where the dot on the map was still blinking. She kept her hands on the steering wheel and the car running. The intensity in the car racketed up and she grabbed her phone, ready to call Razor the second anything felt slightly funny. Not that there was much of a baseline considering how creepy the entire thing already felt. Her heart was hammering in her chest and she swallowed hard as she tried to peer out the window.
“Okay. Now what?” she asked quietly.
“Should we get out…?” Cameron asked. “Get a closer look?”
“A closer look? A closer look at what? It’s creepy and dark and I don’t see any other cars.” Veronica peered harder, nose nearly touching the glass of the window.
“The driveway is a little ways further down. It curves and then leads straight to the lake house.”
“Have you seen any horror movies?” Veronica hissed. She turned away from the window. “They get out of the car and split up and then something happens and they die. The car brakes get cut, someone’s ankle gets sliced off. I am not getting out. Frankly, between the two of us I’m not sure who would die first,” she muttered. “We’re horror movie fodder.”
“Okay, well we didn’t come this far to just—”
Two figures staggered out of the tall grass near the shoulder where the car was sitting and Veronica shrieked. Her hands fumbled around the steering wheel for the headlights. When she flicked them back on she had to blink hard, not believing her eyes. She leaned forward, already reaching for the car door handle with her hand.
“Is that…?” Cameron trailed off.
“Sonny’s old lady?” Veronica finished. She nodded and swore under her breath as she yanked the door open. “And Nick’s? Yeah.” She hopped out of the car, already bringing the phone up to her ear.
“Razor? We’ve got a situation. Get Nick.”
She wedged the phone between her ear and her shoulder and reached for the women. They were breathing hard and had twin terrified looks in their eyes. Clutching at each other and stumbling, it wasn’t until Veronica got closer that she noticed the zip ties still around their wrists and ankles. Cameron bounded towards them and dropped a shoulder to slide under and brace Sonny’s old lady as Veronica tugged the other woman towards her and into a hug.
“We’ve got to get out of here,” Veronica grit out as she turned towards the car. “What the fu—what the!? We’ve got to go!”
They made it all back to the car and Veronica punched the button to lock the doors. Razor finally got back to the line.
“Meet us at the parlor,” Veronica instructed. She glanced in her back seat. “It’s bad.”
“No,” Sonny’s old lady interrupted. “We’ve got to do something about the body. Have them meet us here.”

anon requested: Can we get "I'm so in love with her, I don't know what to do" with mc!Nick talking about Reader A, please? They need some fluff after such a horrible event.
“Well you’re the one that answered the phone…I already told you that it wasn’t an emergency…”
You shifted in the bed, turning over and spreading your hand out against the under you to your side. The other side of the bed was empty, even though the familiar voice coming from somewhere else in the house told you as much. You resisted coming fully awake, settling on your side and curling towards Nick’s empty side of the bed. You let yourself drift.
“Who else do I have to call? Give me a break, Sonny.”
His voice was hushed, but it wafted down the hallway clearly in the otherwise quiet house. You felt your forehead wrinkle, but you still resisted alertness.
“She was gone for so long. I didn’t even know if she was going to come back. Six weeks…” he paused and exhaled hard. “Six weeks is a long time.”
“Yeah, well. I think it’s easier to stay gone when you leave. You going to tell me you guys have never…? She’s never left? Almost left? Even after…”
There was a long pause.
“Shit. I’m sorry. No, don’t listen to me, I’m all wrapped up in my head. We both know her, if your girl wanted to leave, you’d know. Pay me no mind, man.”
Another pause.
“I’m so in love with her, I don’t know what to do…I think I made the right choices, the ones that keep her safe. Keep the club safe. Keep you safe. But—”
“I’m not sure. Hopefully, not. There was a mention of a year, maybe seven months and…I mean, I’m not eager to go to jail. If it’s what has to happen, though…”
A pause. By now you’re fully eavesdropping, turning to your back and slowly letting your eyes flutter open.
“I think so? I know I said before that I didn’t think she would, but after everything else…shit. She’ll probably welcome my absence.”
He chuckled darkly and you frowned and strained to hear better as your eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness of the room. There was only a sliver of pale moon in the sky tonight, a waning crescent, and it only barely brushed against the darkness of the room. Everything was a watery gray and it felt like you were existing between and outside reality.
“I know. You’re right, it’s just tough. I—uh…”
You pushed up to your hand, still groggy, but the most awake you would be at this hour.
“Nick?”
You called out for him and then listened to him curse under his breath. There was a rustling coming from the living room and then a whisper before he responded.
“Be right there. Getting some water. Want anything?”
“No. Just come back to bed.”
You fell back against the pillows and listened to him get up and walk into the kitchen. The refrigerator door opened and closed and then another door opened before you heard the gentle tinkling of glass against ice. A few moments later you heard the sound of the tap running and then it was another few seconds before you heard his steps begin towards the bedroom. It was a gentle slap of his soles on the hardwood, house creaking in places as he walked over certain floorboards.
They got louder the closer he got before pausing at the door. You allowed your head to turn over on the pillow to face his direction. In the darkness his expression was undecipherable. You made a small noise and he entered in completely. He climbed into the bed and set the glass down on his bedside table with a muffled noise after first raising it in your direction as offering. You shook your head no and noted how his usually very neat nightstand was now stacked with papers and a notebook. It was a habit he’d started recently, maybe influenced by Razor or even Sonny, and although you were curious as to what was inside of it, you resisted the urge to snoop. He’d tell you what, and when, he was ready.
“Y’okay?” you slurred, already partially back asleep.
You snugged your body up close to his and threw an arm around his bare waist. He was breathing shallowly under your cheek and you turned slightly to press a kiss to the closest bit of him that you could reach before you let your cheek resume it’s position. Nick exhaled shakily, but when you reach up a hand to press first to his cheek and then thumb across his cheekbone the skin was dry.
“Fine,” he rasped finally. “Just…thinking.”
You thought back to when you’d first returned back to his house—home—nearly a week ago. The expression on his face when he had unlocked the door was blank and for a moment you wondered if you’d made a huge mistake. Your grip on your keyring had tightened, keys digging into the skin after you’d gotten them out automatically and then decided to knock instead.
It was after a moment of you shifting your weight uncomfortably from foot to foot, suitcase beside you in a physical weighted reminder of the metaphorical weight in the gaping distance between you, that he’d roused himself. He had taken a step forward and then back, which pinged something weird in your mind that made you want to smile or throw up, as the shock bled onto his expression. He reached out and snagged your suitcase and pulled it over the threshold with a jerk of his head in your direction. You were barely through the door before he pulled you into his embrace and you were grateful. He smelled like leather and spicy aftershave and you buried your face in his collar, drinking him up. ‘Hello’ had seemed too trite, ‘I’m sorry’ was untrue and ‘I love you’ seemed out of place. Saying ‘I’m home’ had seemed too juvenile, this was not a teen soapy drama, so you settled on keeping your mouth shut a little longer.
The memory faded as he spoke again.
“I’m just so happy that you’re home.”

“Can you keep your hands to yourself?” Nick asked as he half led, half dragged you to his bike.
You tugged the hem of your dress down with your free hand - a losing battle - and hurried to match his stride. Veronica was going to get a huge bouquet of flowers from you later. Tomorrow. There was no way you’d be thinking about anything other than Nick for at least the next several hours.
“Maybe,” you replied with a teasing lilt and curve of your lips. “What’s in it for me?”
Nick snorted and grabbed your helmet as the two of you came up short next to the bike. The helmet smelled vaguely of asphalt and sweat when he placed it on your head and you wrinkled your nose a little. Confident hands clipped it under your chin.
“If I have to pull over, you won’t be able to walk for the next week,” Nick warned you as he slipped his own helmet on. “And sitting won’t be that pleasant either.”
With a roll of your eyes you hitched a leg over the back of the motorcycle.
“Promises promises,” you sang.
Nick shook his head and by the crinkle of his eyes, you could tell that he was trying to suppress a smile.
“You and Veronica…” he trailed off as the heel of his boot came down on the kickstand and he started the bike. “Trouble.”
Your laugh was swallowed up by the sound of the engine as he picked up his feet and tilted the bike towards his house. The evening slipped away in a watercolor wash of indigo with blocks of yellow as you sped by houses. Nick’s chest was warm and sturdy where your hands were wrapped around him securely. A smile broke out across your face and you closed your eyes as he wound around cars. At the next stoplight, you dropped your hand to ghost across his crotch and his body shifted in front of you. A warning hand gripped your wrist in a firm grip before he took off again as the light changed to green.
You felt like flirting with danger tonight.
When Nick made an unexpected turn off to a service road you frowned a little even as your heartbeat sped up. As much as he liked to let other people hear you…enjoying yourself, you couldn’t imagine that he was serious about his warning of pulling over. Another unexpected turn led to a dirt path that eventually pulled in front of a clearly abandoned park. It was silent for a moment right after Nick cut the engine. Then, the sound of crickets in the distance started up again and you recognized the sound of cars going up and down the main road. You looked around, but you didn’t see much of anything and the streetlights didn’t stretch far enough to illuminate the nearly pitch black darkness.
“Still feeling brave, princess?” Nick asked as he tugged off his helmet.
His words came out muffled, but you still caught them. The straps of the helmet were hung over his bike slowly and you breathed out through your mouth quietly.
“You haven’t called me that in a while,” you commented evenly. With slow hands you took off your helmet and let it hang against your left thigh.
“You haven’t been such a brat in a while.”
The words were mild, but they sent a lick of fire up your spine all the same. Nick unfolded himself from the bike and then offered his hand to you. Your free hand being in his meant that you couldn’t adjust your dress where it had ridden up again. You squirmed when Nick made no move to release your hand and you debated dropping the helmet to free your other hand. Before you could make a decision, his free hand came to the edge of you dress. It was just barely covering your butt, but he let a finger trail along the fabric covering your thigh instead.
“Safeword.”
You said it softly and he grinned. It wasn’t his usual sweet grin, though, it was mischievous and a bit dangerous.
“Drop the helmet.”
You hesitated and he tightened the grip on your other hand for a moment.
“Gently. But drop it.”
You bent a little before you released it slowly to the ground. Nick flashed you his teeth and when your hand automatically went to the hem of your dress, he caught it.
“Uh uh,” he admonished with a shake of his head. “You wanted my attention. I watched that desperate smirk flash across your face.”
Nick tilted his head a little and you flushed. Were you that obvious?
“I’m not upset, though,” he drawled. The hand that was on your hem inched the fabric up your thigh slowly. “I like when you’re desperate for me.”
The hand around your wrist was released and he offered his gloved fingers up to your face.
“Take them off,” he ordered quietly. You raised your hand to obey and he shook his head with another half smile. “Use your mouth.”

I'm sorry about your new job. That sounds so stressful. Please feel no pressure for this but if you're up to it "Do you want me to carry you?" With either MC or Bonnie and Clyde? ❤️
mc!nick + Christmas coziness + a fun surprise?
A commercial blared suddenly and you startled back to full wakefulness. Christmas was days away and it felt like all of the advertisers were getting desperate in their attempts to sell people stuff they didn’t really need. You smothered a yawn and rubbed at your eye lazily. It was well past time for you to get into bed, but waiting on the couch for Nick had seemed like a good idea several hours ago. There was a strange unsettled feeling under your skin that was simultaneously energizing and nerve rattling. Nesting.
The movie came back on and even though you’d missed the beginning of this one, you still knew exactly what was going on. There was a small town Christmas tree farmer and a washed up former big city cop, so by the end they’d fall in love and save the local school library or whatever. Despite knowing how futile it was to wait up for Nick you pulled the blanket up over your shoulder and let a hand fall to your belly gently. It wasn’t until the next commercial break that you hear familiar footsteps on the porch with an accompanying jingle.
Nick eased the door open and the somber look on his face transformed into something soft when he saw that you were still awake.
“Hi honey,” he greeted you with a grin.
You smiled and reached out a hand to beckon him over.
“Hi,” you replied. “I missed you.”
Nick crossed the floor to perch on the edge of the couch next to your hip.
“That why you’re still out here and not in bed getting rest?” You craned your head up for a kiss and he obliged gently.
“Yes,” you admitted. “Plus, the bed is so far away.” You dragged out the vowels on the last part and his eyes crinkled in a grin even as he shook his head at you in what was supposed to be a scolding manner.
“You need your rest,” he said. His thumb caressed the high angle of your cheek as he let his hand rest on the side of your face.
“I’ve been dozing. How was…whatever you were doing?”
Something inscrutable passed over his face and then was gone by the time you blinked again. Some of the lightness had left his eyes, but his mouth still tried for levity.
“Not half as cozy and enjoyable as this scene.” He jerked his head towards the television. “How many Christmas movies have you watched tonight alone?”
“A lady doesn’t keep count,” you replied with a faux haughty sniff. A yawn escaped you just then, undercutting your attempts to be stern.
“Bed,” Nick said lightly as he reached for the remote. Switching off the television, he stood to give you space to get to your feet. When you blinked up at him innocently, he stifled a sigh and some of the lightness from before returned. “Do you want me to carry you?”
“Oh, wow. What an idea.” You fluttered your eyelashes up at him. “If you think you can carry me with this extra weight…” Maybe you were laying it on thick, but he wasn’t the one growing a baby, so you figured it was his duty at this point.
“Don’t be ridiculous, woman.” Nick leaned down and scooped you up as easily as he always had. “These muscles aren’t just for show.”
Nick laughed and made for the hallway and you snuggled into his shoulder. You giggled and threaded your arms around his neck.
“Don’t I know it,” you teased. “Those muscles are what got me in trouble in the first place.”
“Are you going to tell me?” You didn’t elaborate further. You knew that Nick knew what you meant.
“I will tell you,” Nick said after a beat. “But not right now. There are still a few…things at play and I don’t want you to be worried about it any more.”
“Oh, whew,” you started with annoyance creeping into your voice. “Now, I won’t worry at all.”
Nick sighed and stiffened under you. You held your breath, but refused to retract what you had said or how you had said it. There was a time where you gave Nick a lot more leeway for club stuff, but given that you had just quit your job and were going to marry him, you had hoped things would be slightly different. Sometimes, you were envious about the closeness of Sonny’s old lady to everything. It had its downsides, for sure, but you bet it felt great to not be kept in the dark so much.
“You know, I used to be so envious of Sonny and his old lady. Especially, when they first got together.” Nick said like he was reading your mind. “We were a team, the three of us, and family. It felt safe and dependable in a way that a lot of my life wasn’t. And over the years I had kind of let that idea go, that I would ever have a partner.” You wiggled around in the bed a bit, trying to see him face better. “And then came you.” You gave him an apologetic small grin.
“Not quite what you had imagined?”
“Better,” Nick assured you. “There was a time where I’d rather die than give a woman control.” You made a voice and he shrugged a shoulder. “Sorry, sweetheart, but it’s the truth.” He paused. “I promise I’ll tell you.” You could sense the ‘but’. “But not right now. I’m not Sonny, but I do want to share more with you. And I will.”
“Pinky promise?” you asked, deciding not to press the point anymore.
