At what point...
Does the majority become the priority? At what point does the school system and courts say enough is enough?
40+ kids have been endangered at this point. 2 classrooms have been destroyed. Charges have been pressed against BOTH parents due to changing custodial situations.
When do the other kids who come to school to be safe but DON’T destroy the classroom become the priority?
And how can I continue to look them in the eye and tell them my job is to keep them safe and provide a safe space? When I obviously don’t have control over that.
Yes, this student has LOTS of issues and deserves love and respect but they need to be in a facility for that where they can be restrained if needed AND where their presence doesn’t inflict undeserving consequences on the others around them.
I wish I knew where the line was drawn.
