So yesterday I started typing out a weekend recap but ran out of time. I had intended to save it to my drafts but instead I posted it. After realising that I had posted it several hours later, I went in to edit it and save it to my drafts but ended up deleting the entire thing. What a journey.
I seem to barely be posting anything of substance lately so I am endeavouring to actually post a half-decent recap:
Friday night the bf and I ordered burgers and fries and I ate a packet of Maltesers and it was so perfect.
On Saturday I was booked into the 9am Crossfit session but woke up at about quarter past six. I switched to the 7am Crossfit session instead and there were only 2 of us in the class! It was like personal training and it was awesome.
It felt amazing to be at home on a Saturday morning at 8:30 and to have already accomplished a damn good workout.
The bf and I spent the rest of the day being productive and getting a bunch of errands and chores done.
On Sunday the bf and I went to something called the Dogs Day Out. It was gorgeous weather and my pup seemed to love it. We bought him something called a snuffle mat for us to hide his dry food and/or treats in.
It’s Monday now and I went to the 5:30 Crossfit class this morning and it was a great (but tough!) session.
I think I’m losing weight and I’m not even focusing on it too much. I’m doing less ‘traditional’ cardio and I’ve even cut down my workouts from 6 times a week to 5 yet my clothes are all becoming looser. I’m eating a lot of protein but still eating a lot and eating ‘junk’ food on weekends. My body just seems really happy with the types of training I’m doing at the moment.
Speaking of, my arm muscles are coming in but for the life of me I can never seem to take a good photo?? And I can feel muscles developing up the front of my thighs which is awesome!
4 days left of work before 2 weeks holidays and boy oh boy do I need it. I don’t think I’ve ever been this stressed from work before?
