you google "how to get help as a narcissist" and youre immediately bombarded by like 5 articles on how to spot someone with npd so you can avoid them and then a youtube video titled "how to BEAT a NARCISSIST at their own GAME" where a middle aged woman gives you a step by step guide on how to emotionally abuse an insecure person and no one sees anything wrong with that

psych2go ruined my perception of neurodivergency tbh. i used to watch them a lot when i was younger before i realized “lol these bitches are actually spreading misinformation” and so i thought npd and aspd were the “evil disorders”, “the “dark triad” was a thing, your handwriting “revealed things about your personality”, that “dark empaths” existed… jesus christ. fuck pop psychology!!

"narcissists will FEIGN empathy as a MANIPULATION TACTIC..." well what the fuck else am i supposed to do??? let you know that i dont care??? tarnish my good reputation with you for literally nothing??? why would i ever do that💀

npd is like "i'm the best person ever i'm next to God everyone should worship me" and then someone points out The Mistake so now the only solution is to kill myself

the “hehe im so narcissistic!!!” mfs until they feel sick and want to vomit and die just because they got embarrassed, until they isolate themselves and ruin relationships just because they think theyre too good for everyone else, until they realize that the entire world calls them an unchangable abusive monster
