🩶 Silver Dragon Codex by R.D. Henham (Dragon Codices #6)
Rating: 🌟🌟🌟/5
When a white-robed wizard shows up at a circus and accuses Belen, a performer, of being a silver dragon who killed a whole village, it’s up to her and her friends to uncover this mystery. As they travel to the ruined village, more signs point to an even bigger problem, an even bigger threat. Will they be able to solve this puzzle?
The sixth book in the Dragon Codices, it was fast-paced, adventurous, and really showed growth with the characters we followed. I enjoy delving into the world of Krynn and meeting some interesting folk, getting to go on adventures and potentially meet dragons!
Although, there was one aspect of this book I didn’t like which was how the writer treated the character Ebano, who is a “foreigner” and doesn’t speak the common language. They frequently refer to his own language as strange and he felt very middle eastern/asian-coded which put a sour taste in my mouth. He is one of my favorite characters in the book and I just wish they treated him with more respect when describing his customs and life.
💛 Gold Dragon Codex by R.D. Henham (Dragon Codices #7)

Sandon has grown up on tales of the Knights of Solomnia, hoping to one day join their ranks, but things are not so simple. His father, the Baron of Hartfall, must offer tribute to an evil blue dragon, a stranger has arrived, and the gold dragon said to protect the valley of Hartfall is no where to be found. What will Sandon do?
This was a wild ride from start to finish, following Sandon as he goes from naive teenager to a respectable fighter and son of the Baron. His character development is static and he shows courage, and forethought in the issues that arise, giving him many opportunities to grow and develop.
One of the main things I love about this series is the dragons (who would have guessed?). This book features two dragons with a long history of conflict and it’s riveting to see how they interact, and how the dragons present themselves. This was a solid ending to the series, although you could say each book is a standalone, but I still thought it made a good finale to all the stories.
