Is Moonborn worth it?
Since the next new book is Moonborn 2, I hope it’s more of a spin-off than sequel —with a new cast and completely new plot.
Why? I did not read Moonborn. Vampires and werewolves are really not my thing unless I get to kill them. The Twilight thing just felt cliché and overdone to me.
Another reason is because it’s 5 seasons long! I was willing to binge 3 seasons of SOS, but there’s no way I’m getting through 5 seasons of a vampire and werewolf love triangle.
Someone, please tell me if it’s truly worth it!!
I know it’s written by Jester. He’s definitely a better writer than Stephenie Meyer. His world building is fantastic. But I also know his books take a certain level of patience. Are the 5 seasons really that good? Is it worth binging? Is it exponentially better than Twilight? (Sorry, Twihards.)

Confession:
I finished Psi and Legend of the Willow, and I played some of Moonborn. I enjoyed both well enough and plan on finishing Moonborn. However TTS frustrates me. Jester is known for his slow burn and I get that, I respect that, l expect that, but it honestly gets to a point. Where's the line between writing style and copy pasting? Everyone's relationship needs to operate similarly?
Everything needs to be paced similarly? I understand that not every character is going to get an equal amount of screentime too, but with a low number of love interests none of them should feel as neglected as they do. Due to the nature of his writing the relationships progress at a snail's pace on top of the romantic interactions being few and far between. We don't always have to start sucking face 3 episodes into season 1 but damn.
