My immediate thought was Adrian Chase! He's also a big nerd; he loves video games (both console and arcade!), he used to be the host for a DnD group and he has a lot of movie knowledge! — He also seems to be quite content with gore and violence, so he'd definitely be up to watching slasher! Whereas he's probably never LARP'd before, he would definitely be enthusiastic to try, and help with making costumes! He has practice with stitching and sewing and making outfits!

Adrian also has and does work in the service industry — he doesn't necessarily do his job well, but he still probably has some interesting stories to share and compare, during his quests as a bus boy.

Whereas he doesn't necessarily partake in the activities you've shared, he'd be more than happy to try them, and excited that you'd want to share them with him! He'd especially enjoy travelling and astronomy, I think!

He's quite clingy and openly affectionate — typically through words — so if that's the sort of (persistent) energy you'd need to grow close, then he's perfect!

Adrian would also most likely be in awe of your ability to think on the spot! He's a terrible liar and always ends up saying the most bizarre things, most of the time because he isn't too quick on his feet in those situations.

However, his 'odd' behaviour is more than made up by his attentiveness. He's very perceptive to little ways he can help out — and he'll jump to assist if you ask! Even if it's as small as cleaning.

Adrian's go to love languages are acts of service and quality time!

If you're more into the aloof type, then Edward Nygma is probably your preferred option! He is less likely to be as open in his affections and want for your attention as Adrian, and seems to be more relaxed. However, he's just good at hiding it. He does adore his partners, he just doesn't want to ruin his unshakable, gentlemanly persona.

Unfortunately, being the Riddler has made him act slightly snobbish towards hobbies he very much enjoys. This would include DnD and any sort of fictional text, unless it's deemed a classic or high brow. However, even as he pretends to turn his nose up at these, it is obvious that he wants to do them with you. Even if he supposedly joins for “your benefit”.

Edward does enjoy reading, travelling and astronomy! But most of all from that list, he would definitely enjoy doing anything computer related! It's one of his many strengths and he'd frankly be happy to have someone that shares knowledge in it.

Unfortunately, however, most of his time is consumed with Batman, plotting and scheming. But that means that when he does have the time, he enjoys spoiling his partner. He'd probably suggest a fancy trip or day out since you both get so engrossed in work.

All in all, he would enjoy your enthusiasm over shared interests (after all, passion and knowledge are quite endearing for him) and playfulness! He enjoys a little mischief, especially in the right dosages.

Whereas Edward is big on gift giving and words of affirmation, he does like to be physically affectionate — he just prefers initiating it!

If you wanted someone who was different but still similar enough, you might like Teddy Martin! Ted is a quiet and observant person, who likes movies, books and dabbled in gaming. His most common hobby, however, is people-watching. He has a dry and sarcastic sense of humour, and grows more playful with his friends and partner the more comfortable he gets.

Whereas he isn't into anime and tabletop games too much, he is more than happy to sit with his partner and learn. He loves learning about their interests and he loves trying to get into what they like. Even if he doesn't always get it, he's very encouraging about it!

Ted has to travel a lot for work, which isn't fun, but he does enjoy the idea of travelling for leisure. Maybe somewhere calm and not chaotic — a place to explore, but also somewhere to just read and draw. Definitely swimming, too! He thinks it's the most enjoyable form of exercise.

He does like to 'take care' of his partner — but it's more so observing their likes, preferences, habits and what distresses them, so he can silently cultivate a better environment. Honestly his ideal date is something more cosy and centered around his partner.

At times, Teddy's sense of humour and way of being may come across as blunt, but he does mean to be playful, and his humour does shift when he starts dating someone, because he doesn't really want to even unintentionally offend them. Ted's still playful, he's just less sarcastic.
