App Spotlight: It's hard to appreciate an organized physical space if your mental space is cluttered. I use @dayone @dayoneapp as an electronic journal. While I love writing and prefer a notebook, this app lets you incorporate pictures, location, weather, current activity, and more. It's great on the go. App Spotlight: I absolutely love @Wunderlist! It's great for making lists with sub-items and sharing tasks with co-workers, friends or family. Unlike a paper based list where you have to rewrite recurring items such as things on a grocery list, Wunderlist lets you refresh the item to the list by marking them as incomplete and restoring their active status. It's hard to figure out just how much of something you really have when the items are scattered in different places or the amount/volume can't be seen clearly. When organizing it's important to sort like things together and really see the amount in each grouping. It's easy to buy more when you don't realize just how much you have. Once your sorting and needs assessment are complete, be sure to place the items in their new home/location neatly and clearly.
