The mystery-noir webcomic Welcome to Ratterrock gave us a bunch of great and intriguing animal characters, and I really got hooked on trying to draw them. Starting with the dazzling, cool, and ever-polished femme fatale of the Regal family — Sorcha Regal.

Ratterrock oc everybody!!! for a brief explanation:

last new year's eve a bunch of my friend got together at my house to play a frankly alarming amount of ttrpgs. We played a call of chthulu oneshot mastered by the one and only @/teachmehowtodokiaye where I played a journalist, Carey Wayne. He's one entire bastard, and a manchild, and many other bad things the party hasn't yet discovered- aside from being a 30's paparazzi, basically, writing stories of dubious verity out of gossip he's heard from a variety of shady contacts. Fun fact, we also did cosplay of our characters this oneshot so this drawing was based on one of the coolest photos of myself I have.

And then I discovered @welcome-to-ratterrock (which you all should read)... and this concept would not get out of my mind FOR THE LIFE OF ME. Carey just fits in so well with the grimy world of ratterock, I'm sure he's out there writing a trashy article about the mystery of the washed-up debutante right now... Also, Carey is technically scottish. so you know what that means.
