There's a fine line between cultural appropriation and cultural appreciation.

Cultural appreciation would be like,going to Japan for example,and getting photos in a kimono.

BUT You have to know where it came from and recognize that you are simply not of the Japanese culture and you do not get a right to say shitty things or do shitty actions that hurt that culture!!

Cultural appropriatetion would be like going to Japan,taking photos in the kimono

Making disrespectful remarks or disrespectful actions in said kimono and not reconizing the beautiful and rich culture it comes from.

And this goes for all cultures not just the ones you romantize.

All the "dirty" cultures,all the weird cultures,all the unholy culture still deserves respect weather you agree with is or not the least you could do is give decent respect.
