It has been a while! College has started back up and I'm already swamped within the first two days (I had to read 60 bloody pages for tomorrow! As much as I love the kind of stuff I learn in the humanities I hate the work). I'm taking two comp sci classes, one of which is rapid prototype development which seems to focus particularly on back-end development and another which is object-oriented programming where I'm going to learn the great language of C++. Yesterday, I learned a bit about html and css which wasn't difficult at all. C++ is a whole different story, where I get to learn about header and source files, which you don't have to deal with in Java. I also am now going to be working on Visual Studio 2013, and today we had the task of writing a hello world program (again). I got to use command prompt which makes me happy because I learned the ways around it during break. I'll write a bit more on what I learn after I turn in some work and have more time to review, for these past few days have been busy busy.
