But I will always be creeped out by the annual takes on here saying General Sherman should have done worse takes that show up annually, like saying salt the earth. Like...its just naked wanting an acceptable target for atrocities and without any forward thinking.

(Also if we are imagining better timeline then I find that contradictory, because the better timeline is handing over land and other property to former slaves as reparations. While the survivors of the slaveowning class weep)

I’m not trying to be moralizing I’m saying it actually creeps me out the Old Testament style judgement fantasies. Its the same type of evil that made me flee religion, vengeance over any thoughts to the future

And I love power fantasies about that type of thing and cheer fictional characters on but its scary to see people talking about such things in history

Is history just like another fiction setting to other people? Is that why? 

They are a gross borderline rapist power fantasy people excuse for legacy reasons or being hot

They should all die or at least be shunned and not interacting positively with other big names.

So it turns out I can handle sexual assault scenes, but plot forcing someone to associate socially or work together with their rapist or someone who threatened rape really bother me.  I guess seeing someone forced to relive trauma is worse than trauma itself to me
