Any Scorpio I’ve ever met has been a deceptive little sh#t. They lure you in only to turn around and lie or hide something and it’s YOUR problem when it comes to light like they did absolutely nothing wrong. They’re also human garbage who can just toss someone aside that they CLAIMED to care about once it becomes inconvenient for them.

I’m not a person who spits but if I did I would aim for a Scorpio’s face cause that’s the only part of my existence they deserve 😡

I showed this to my Scorpio sister, and she agreed with it 100%. I think your rant also applies to scorpio moons and risings, coz tbh, I also tend to do the same thing.

One thing I’ve realised about scorpions is that they just pretend to not care about what people and society think of them, but they actually CARE A LOT. They pretend to mind their own business, but are actually nosy and gossipy af. They’ll often do anything to fit into society at times, even if it means sacrificing others. (This doesn’t apply to all scorpions btw so please don’t get offended by this. Angry scorpions are v v scary)

Alden really believes in what he believes in, and he will work for things to be true. From the first book, he’s wanted to show Sophie where she belongs and to create a safe world for her to live in. He takes the Emissary jobs that no one else will, and he goes behind the Council’s back when necessary to fight for what he believes in. He was even willing to step down from his position in Everblaze because of the ability restrictor—a big decision for a Vacker! I really admire his dedication and his care for Sophie. He’s always seen her as a person, from the beginning of the search, not an experiment—unlike Quinlin.

I feel like talking more about Vampire Idol, since a few people have shown an interest in the story, so I’m gonna talk about some of the contestants of the story. (: Thank you for your ask!

Mallory History is a very brutal killer. She likes to torture her victims in the ways of old. She isn’t a super old vampire, but when she was human, she liked to study historical forms of torture. It absolutely fascinated her, so when she became a vampire, she felt that she had an “excuse” to use the things she learned, especially when vampires started to get famous for how brutally they killed humans.

well, i know who could rant about that for days, probably…

i’ll be honest, i don’t have a lot to say to that. i have no personal experience with irresponsible pet owners, no stories i could recall to draw some angry energy from. i’m lucky.

and the simple statement that people who are irresponsible should not own pets, and that people who want to own pets need to learn to treat them right - well, that’s just a truism, not a rant.

Okay, listen, man. I know you’re just trying to help your kids, including Sophie whom you view as one, but... no. Big no, in fact!

I know Fitz seemed like the most reasonable option to go after the Moonlark, since you didn’t want to tell anyone else. But... you would have to be pretty blind or careless to not see how he was an outcast at school because of it, etc. People genuinely made fun of him and avoided him and started rumors about why he was never at school. And what did you have to say to convince people that he had a legitimate reason to not be at school?

Ask someone else to search! Have a tiny bit of trust! Because there again is one of your big problems, Alden: No trust. You told Sophie not to trust Councillor Terik or Mr. Forkle or anyone else that tried to help her.

And you completely guilt-tripped Tiergan into training Sophie, which brings us to another of your issues: obsession with abilities. What if you didn’t force someone so young to train and ask her to break a criminal’s mind for you? “I hate to ask you do this, but—” No. This is just like with sending Fitz out all over again. If you know you shouldn’t ask, then don’t. It’s that easy. Find someone else!

Oh but then you DO trust the Black Swan’s clues, but only when they’re convenient for you. Like using “let the past be your guide” to take Sophie to break Fintan’s mind with you. So that’s totally fine, but nothing else is. Because YOU have to be there, because NO ONE ELSE is trustworthy.

and this isn’t even getting into how this issue manifests with Keefe and his treatment of Keefe as a secondary son because he’s not a Telepath. I won’t get into that today.
