(ad) Who wants the recipe for my gluten free tarte au citron? 😍 Sometimes you just can’t beat simple baking done right and I LOVE anything sweet and zesty like this in the Spring 🍋☀️ I made this recipe in collaboration with @leisureliving range cookers 🙌🏻 A good oven is so important when it comes to baking, but three would be even better! . This is one of those desserts I’ve made which at present isn’t dairy free (just gluten free). Just wondering who here needs recipes to be both gluten free and dairy free? And who here just needs gluten free? Please let me know, it’s really useful 😇 I’m trying to ensure as many recipes as possible are for all of you who need GF & DF - thanks for being patient (and for the not so patient Mark, who always complains when I make a cheesecake filled with dairy 😆) To be fair nearly all my recipes are both gluten free and dairy free there’s just a few things I’m still perfecting! I will be a Masterchef or a Bakeoff Champion one day 🤓👩🏼‍🍳 (not!!) . I’m also sitting here this evening so happy that the evenings are lighter now. I'm so excited to have installed this beautiful ilve Milano range cooker a few weeks ago . We used to have a Britannia cooker but didn't realise that they use to be made by Ilve in Italy. This new range cooker is even better than the previous one as it has an induction hob. And is really efficient The temperature controls are amazing you can choose the exact temperature you require which makes using the oven a breeze. The temperature is really precise too. I Just wish that changed years ago. Choosing the colour is a real hard decision as ilve have a colour match service so if like me you love Farrow and Ball paints you can match your cooker to your units wall colours. In the end after many hours of debating I decided to match the cooker with the Belfast sink i.e. I went for white. I think it contrasts really nicely with the ammonite coloured handmade kitchen units and composite stone worktops. In the next couple of weeks I'll be receiving the made-to-measure splashback for behind the cooker. rather than tiles or frosted glass I'm actually going for a mirror. Fingers crossed 😵as I've not seen anyone use a mirror before but I'll post a picture of the cooker with the mirror splashback once it's fully installed and you can let me know your thoughts.
