I've been absorbed by the art of painting miniatures and now i am repainting my Skylanders Cynder figure.
Her original painting was not that horrible, eyes aside, and I bet I could get away with just a black wash, plus a matte varnish to take away the plastic shine
But I hated how her glued parts were so obvious so I had to fill in the gaps with acrylic gesso. It's probably not the best option but it is what I had in hand and it looks pretty ok.
Some of the more solid gesso parts, where I had to put down more material to fill the bigger gaps, were very averted to the primer, so yeah.
Me: ooh spikey collars and leather jackets, and piercings! Very cool, I would very much like this aesthetic™
