I'll point some standalone shorts which may not spawn a whole series but still are made by talented creative from whom we could use more content.
One independent animator I'd like to point out is @jackstauber who did 3 projects so far for [adult swim]: SHOP: A Pop Opera, OPAL, and Valentine's Day is Not for the Lonely. The former comes off as a personal favorite short subject...
...and so is this one. Scoop D'état has some very talented crew led by @dorkymations !
Animation historian Vincent Alexander also did a short called Musical Man and the Magic Kazoo; I saw an excerpt in his thread about classical music in classic cartoons.
Some other independent animation I'll highlight are Philharmonia Fantastique and Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey, which're Skywalker Sound projects...
...and of course the animated series adaption of The Wingfeather Saga, which Iyanu distributor Lion Forge Entertainment distributes outside of the US...
...and lastly I'll mention Theo Presents, a Christian E/I series by Mike Joens. Lovely stuff btw!
I could go on about many others: Lackadaisy, The Amazing Digital Circus, MechWest, Zipped Up, Busted Bible Stories, Bullet Time, ... I could go on and on and on... but you see where I'm going with this?
