The Three Tomes is a story of black whimsy, magic and adventure...showcasing that we as black folks can be present in all kinds of stories... fantasy.. romance... stories that don't center black pain...and shutting down tropes like the disposable black girlfriend. It shows cases a cast of black and brown queer characters and that we can just.. be. Me and my parents will head off shortly to spend the whole day in a nearby pool , and since places like that tend to be quite draining for me ( mostly due to having many people around , the constant noises and me not feeling too comfortable in swimsuits as a whole ;C; ) I thought that drawing one of my selfships having fun in this kind of scenario would help me feel better , so I ended up choosing my two ladies Blair and Aubrey ^^ ❣️

Considering how both of them rarely ever take a break from their jobs , imagining them being able to take some time to focus on themselves and having a nice moment together away from it all does bring me joy :

Dungeon Flippers is good. The MC is cute and hilarious.

I’d also recommend Ramshackle if you haven’t seen it. Gives me a flapjack feel.

Pretty Please I don’t wanna be a Magical Girl is incredible too. It already has a 2nd episode out and a third on the way. It’s mostly in animatic format but the 1st episode is in the process of being fully animated.

The Art of Murder as well! It’s really fun and has the voice of Pomni in it.

An oldie but goodie is Long Gone Gulch. Never really got off the ground but it’s so fun. It has the voice of Buttercup and Jack Spicer so it was impossible for me to not love it.

And Heathens as well. Their Kickstarter for ep 1 is in pre launch!

One I’ve heard about but haven’t watched yet is Monkey wrench, but it’s on my to do list.

And of course I eagerly await the release of Far-Fetched. Headed by Ashley Nichols (Zooble and Hunicast) Been following since it was announced!
