"My heart has joined the thousand, for my friend stopped running today." Today at around 3:30PM we said our last goodbye. My heart has never been so simultaneously empty and full. Twix was one of a kind. He loved everyone, shared many kisses, chinned it all, and today broke many hearts. Everyone he met fell in love with his magnificantly gentle soul instantly. He was like a little Buddha in a bunny body. He never let anything stop him, be it blindness or a closed gate. He was my heart, my soul, my everything. We always joked he was immortal, and in many ways he may have been. Up until the end he did it his way. The vet said he was in perfect health and in no pain with the exception of his back. We believe he had spondyliosis or advanced vertebral disc disease and this morning he lost 90% usage of his hind end very suddenly. Due to this we chose to help him over the Rainbow Bridge. He was not himself and we chose to take that as him telling us he was ready. Binky free my baby..
