Back to the future, and I do love all three but the third in particular has that special oomf 🤠

On my birthday my friends and I played one of our favorite bored games, a LOTR-based game from the 80s where you’re on one of two teams: the hobbits or the ring wraiths. And you have cards in your hand and cards in the deck, and one of those cards is the One Ring, and the goal is to race to Mordor (either to destroy the ring if you’re a hobbit or get it to sauron if you’re a wraith) on the bored and there’s battles and elements and it’s v fun. We played in the park and the sun had set so we were playing with the light of our phones, and we were all pretty darn sure my friend Hilary had the ring bc of some moves she made, and Ciara used a very powerful card to steal a card from someone’s hand, but instead of picking Hilary which would let her get the ring back in the hobbits hands, she picked Melissa! Now, the reason this is actually funny is melissa /did/ have a ring of power card but it wasn’t the One Ring, it was Galadriel ring, but in the dark Ciara only saw picture of ring and assumed she was correct and the rest of us were the lost ones, and she was So Confident and talking smack and then we promptly lost as Hilary handed over the ring and destroyed the world, and it was very very funny and I love this game 🥲
