#rainbow plane

We have made a server based in the Rainbow Planes Universe, a roleplay premise where people have powers based on their identities and labels!

We are recruiting for other initiative centers for the various communities under the overall LGBT+ Umbrella; namely for monospec aligned and intersex initiative centers!

This post is a recruitment message for those who would like to found in-universe initiative centers and create lore for these other communities.

We have some guidelines:

1. It needs to be called [blank] initiative center to match the naming scheme we have going.

2. The discord server needs to be called "Rainbow Plane: [blank] Division" to match the naming scheme.

3. Lore you create needs to comply with existing lore.

4. You need to work with us on building your server/nitiative center, and periodically update us on your progress.

5. It cannot be located in the Void, as this would conflict with existing lore.

6. Do not use lizards/reptiles as that is for the @trans-nonbinaryinitiativecenter. 

7. People of multiple communities have access to multiple initiative centers.

8. In our server we have areas for non-[blank] community members to interact with community members, and we expect that you make the same provisions in your server.

9. We reserve the right to ask you to step down if we feel your progress is too slow or if you do not respect the lore and roleplay premise we have built so far.

10. Please fill out this application form and we will contact you when you have done so. 

By titles I mean titles describing your deeds and acts and who you are.

An example of how this could be applied into the Rainbow Plane (I will use myself as an example to give an idea of what I’m going for, but not going to share my name):

I am [redacted], High Commander of the Aspec Initiative Center, Ambassador of the Rainbow Initiative Center, Scholar, Seamstress, Virago, Warrior, Weaver, Writer, Defender of Women, and Feminist Extroardinaire.

Hello everyone! 

You know how authors of books set in other worlds name those worlds something easy to remember? Terry Pratchett's Discworld, @neil-gaiman's London Below/Above, @seananmcguire's many worlds of the Wayward Children series? 

With much appreciated help from the other agent blogs, we came up with a name for the World in which the AIC is set! It's called the Rainbow Plane, as coined by Agender77, to act as an umbrella over all the different dimensions and worlds that (will) contain the different initiative centers, in the same way the Rainbow is meant to be an umbrella flag for the entire LGBT+ community! It's also much easier to say than "World of the AIC" as I had been calling this in my head for months haha. 

1. All time exists at the same time inside the Void; you cannot use the Void to time travel and can only exit the Void at precisely the moment after you exited it. This creates the illusion of the instantaneous travel across vast distances. 

2. Only Aspecs can access the Void and by extension the AIC, nobody else can. Not the Hunt, not Shadows, not Aspec Allies, not people traveling with Aspecs. The Void (and by extension the AIC) cannot be breached by anyone who is Allospec either. It’s the ultimate safe space for Aspecs. This protective ability is as immutable as gravity. Though the Hunt has tried to breach into the Void using complex machines or forcing Aspecs to try and bring them into the Void, they just get left in the Shadow Realm to find their way back to the Mortal Realm. As such, if a Hunter demands you take them to the Void, just Void Travel if you have that ability, as they will get left behind and you will be safe escaped into the Void. However, Safe Houses and HeadQuarters can be invaded. (other initiative centers will be able to decide if they want their initiative centers to have this same protective ability) 

The Warriors have an emphasis on engaging with the enemy in combat, gathering intel, and sabotaging the enemy while Agents/Bosses/District Leaders have an emphasis on research, transporting and protecting Aspeclings, and infiltrating enemy organizations for the purpose of protecting Aspeclings. 

(You can be a member of more than one clan and I am working on a quiz for which clan you belong in) 

Dragon Warriors: Bold forward attacks, generally plan and lead the offense, the tanks of the operation, emphasis on brutality in hand to hand combat (think Krav Maga), also do ranged attacks but ones that cause mass destruction (think bombs and flamethrowers as opposed to arrows). 

Gryphon Warriors: Aerial based attacks emphasizing precision over destruction (think arrows, spears, darts, guns), emphasis on ranged attacks and rarely engage in hand to hand combat. 

Salamander Warriors: Elemental magic, use magic in combat. Also excel at camouflage and blending into their environment and help come up with cover stories for Foxes and Shadows going undercover/going on missions. 

Fox Warriors: Function as spies to infiltrate the enemy to gather intel, usually go undercover long term and pass along their info to Rabbits. Fighting technique emphasizes tricking your opponent, if they engage in combat they try to keep it as short as possible; usually use weapons that can be hidden like daggers, brass knuckles, throwing stars, tasers, rings that double as knives, improvising weapons. 

Rabbit Warriors: Pacifists, emphasis on scouting, they function as scouts and couriers that don't engage the enemy but do observe them; they are the eyes of the factions. Rabbit Warriors are also called the eyes and it's common for them to say "I'm an eye" when stating their occupation to other Initiative Center members or for them to say ‘I am an eye' to center themselves. Emphasis on getting away from the enemy if they have to engage them. 

Shadow Warriors: Specializes in stealth and subterfuge, emphasis on technique in a fight and toying with your enemy's minds. Specialize in extractions (both allies, our own people, and enemies). Uses the emphasis on psychological attacks to trick enemies into divulging sensitive information without realizing it. 

Below is a map of the Realms in the Rainbow Plane.

The Mortal Realm is a 3D dimension, while the Void is a 4D dimension (link to a video that explains 2D, 3D, and 4D space-highly recommended to watch it to aid in understanding). The White Void and the Shadow Realm are in between 3D and 4D space (they are not 3D and nor are they 4D). Aspecs are 4D beings; as such we can access the Void, and dimensions below 4D dimensions. Since the Mortal Realm is 3D, inhabited by 3D beings, they cannot access higher dimensions. Beings of higher dimensions can access lower dimensions, but not higher dimensions (3D space is made from 2D space stacked on top of each other, in much the same way 4D space is made from 3D space stacked on top of each other, this is why beings from higher dimensions can access lower dimensions but attempting to access higher dimensions is an exercise in futility). That is why Shadows can leave the Shadow Realm to occupy the Mortal Realm, but cannot enter the Starry Plane or the Void, and it is why the Hunt cannot leave the Mortal Realm. 

This is also why when Aspecs are Void Traveling to and from the Void, we are perceived to get smaller until we ‘disappear’ or seem to get bigger and bigger as we leave and approach 3D space. 

This is also why all Time exists at once in the Void, since all 3D objects exist at the same time in the Void, nothing is hidden from her (please see the example in the linked video).
