Why Only Aspecs Can Access the Void
Below is a map of the Realms in the Rainbow Plane.

The Mortal Realm is a 3D dimension, while the Void is a 4D dimension (link to a video that explains 2D, 3D, and 4D space-highly recommended to watch it to aid in understanding). The White Void and the Shadow Realm are in between 3D and 4D space (they are not 3D and nor are they 4D). Aspecs are 4D beings; as such we can access the Void, and dimensions below 4D dimensions. Since the Mortal Realm is 3D, inhabited by 3D beings, they cannot access higher dimensions. Beings of higher dimensions can access lower dimensions, but not higher dimensions (3D space is made from 2D space stacked on top of each other, in much the same way 4D space is made from 3D space stacked on top of each other, this is why beings from higher dimensions can access lower dimensions but attempting to access higher dimensions is an exercise in futility). That is why Shadows can leave the Shadow Realm to occupy the Mortal Realm, but cannot enter the Starry Plane or the Void, and it is why the Hunt cannot leave the Mortal Realm.
This is also why when Aspecs are Void Traveling to and from the Void, we are perceived to get smaller until we ‘disappear’ or seem to get bigger and bigger as we leave and approach 3D space.
This is also why all Time exists at once in the Void, since all 3D objects exist at the same time in the Void, nothing is hidden from her (please see the example in the linked video).
The Starry Plane is a 4D pocket dimension created and stored in the in-between cushioning 4D space from 3D space where the Shadow Realm and White Void are, it orbits the Void at varying distances. When an observer is standing in the Shadow Realm or White Void, the Starry Plane can be perceived as getting bigger or smaller as it moves through this in-between dimensional space. This is why it requires careful timing to enter and exit the Starry Plane. If you miss, you can end up rocketing through dimensional space (much in the same way the Spiderpeople went rocketing into Miles’ dimension in the movie Into the Spiderverse) and there is no way to predict where or in what Realm you will land.
