𐔌՞. .՞𐦯. Rain was concerned since she wasn’t watching where she was going, lightly grabbing her hand before the other woman could fall. ❛ My apologies .. I wasn’t looking where I was going.. ❜ a small smile forming on the woman’s face since she felt better about helping the woman up before she could fall.. ɴᴏᴛ ᴀ ᴠᴇʀʏ ɢʀᴇᴀᴛ ғɪʀsᴛ ɪᴍᴘʀᴇssɪᴏɴ. But something about the woman made her eyes sparkle, she was gorgeous.

(PASTOR CECIL) MONDAY “RAIN!” Matthew 5:44-45; Pastor Cecil A. Thompson September 11, DAILY-E-VOTIONAL
— rain.
starter for @rkhoshi!
of course, it only made sense that a long day of scorching hot temperatures would end with something as inconvenient as rain. and of course they’d still be made to perform in such conditions—dawon hadn’t come to expect any less. she’d adapt to it, she’d have to—but that didn’t mean she had to like it. to dawon, it felt like plain bad luck, but she couldn’t let her dissatisfaction show. if she had any hope of proving that she was capable of adapting to even the most demanding conditions, she’d have to take it all in stride.
a little rain never hurt anyone, right?
she enjoyed helping those that passed her by, much more than she enjoyed performing in this kind of weather. it felt nice knowing that she was helping others in weather conditions they may not have expected, and it made performing in such harsh conditions feel worth it. “hey there. want to stand under this umbrella?” she asked, referring to the one that she was currently carrying. “you have such nice hair, and... maybe this will help you to keep it dry until you can reach some better shelter. it wouldn’t be difficult for you to get sick in this kind of weather, so... here.” she extended the umbrella in the boy’s direction, hoping that he’d take it (even though it’d leave her without). “you can borrow it, if you’d like.”
