I like raid days. You get five free raid passes and get to do a bunch of raids for a Pokemon with an increased shiny chance. Kleavor Raid Day is no different, although it IS a Pokemon from the Pokemon Arceus game, which means it does stick out a bit. This raid day follows the normal formula. The Legendary Birds Returned Yet Again

To finish off the Kanto Celebration, we got a very nice little raid event. On the last day of February, the Legendary Birds returned for 3 hours in 5 star raids. Missed posting for Ralts day because I was traveling, but did I miss Ralts day? Hell no. I told my new in-laws that I needed to go play this thing on my phone because you could catch virtual animals that were a different color from usual, and surprisingly they haven’t asked their son to dump me yet (AFAIK).

I managed to check about 130 ralts and found 8 shiny, a generous 6% rate, including a level 30 for lucky trade. I think Gardevoir is one of most beautiful shinies, and she’s a great fairy-type attacker, so I’m glad I was able to participate.

Did only 5 raids for Suicune day yesterday (shiny Rayquaza is more enticing, and also more useful, so I didn’t save Friday’s pass). I didn’t get a shiny, but my husband did, which has been the story for all the legendary dogs, no matter how many passes we use!

But I can’t complain, because I have been extremely lucky with shinies recently. Besides the 3 shiny Rays I’ve gotten so far, I also had a very shiny birthday, when shortly after midnight, I received a shiny Poliwag from a quest, and then shortly after I woke up, I found a shiny Pidgey in bed. A few days later, in Tahoe, I found a shiny Hypno and a shiny Caterpie. And, just on Friday, after walking 2 miles in 90 degree heat, I hatched a beautiful bouncy baby boy Azurill.
