I’m changing some facts in this AU:

- I’m giving Rodan the crown for a change. He’s always fought for it and he used to be Godzilla’s equal in the Showa Era, so I’ve inverted their dynamic in the Monsterverse.

- Mothra isn’t tyrannical. That’s out-of-character for her, so Battra will take on a Starscream-esque role.

A good ²³⁸Umbrella policy should cover it.

The Noble Gasses from the Periodic Table are Aspec

imma be mixing the lore because I love Rodan and his appearances so much

Rodan has never had any interest in humans, nor has he ever trusted them, so when you came along he was confused. It took him a while, but eventually he accepted your friendship.

He brings you rocks and trees to build a nest. You don't have a nest so he assumes you're homeless. He does not understand the concept of homes, he just knows humans live in them, and due to you being a close friend to him he sees your home as unsuitable.

^ He also brings you dead meganulon to eat (you hand them over to museums or Monarch)

^ and shiny trinkets. (since he's big asf this often includes cars, boats, skyscraper lighting rods, and various other things that inconvenience the poor soul whom he steals from)

Godzilla and Rodan are close allies and friends, so Godzilla sometimes shows up near the island Monarch gave you because he's curious what has caught Rodan's attention

Rodan lets you pet him on the head, sometimes

He lands on the other side of your island and walks towards you so he doesn't accidentally generate hurricane force winds on your home

He is very careful around you and your home

Despite his sadistic and humanity-disliking tendencies, he is very intelligent and understands a lot more than Monarch thinks he does, so when he showed up near a Monarch building where you were attending a meeting, you had to come out to assure him you were okay
