Drabble about Cecil at a rave based on this picture by goddess-in-green~
Despite the gauges, earrings, lip piercing, dyed hair, and bright color of his shirt, Cecil didn’t look like he belonged at the rave. This was because, even if it was brightly-colored, his shirt looked more at home on a couch belonging to an elderly person than on a human being. It was as though he was completely oblivious to the very non-rave-like nature of the pattern he proudly wore, or perhaps, he knew full-well how it looked and merely exuded enough confidence to make it seem as though he didn’t care.
Whichever the case, he waltzed his way around the club with all the grace of one who has practiced their motions to perfection time and again, slipping and sliding his way through the throng of bodies dancing away to the beat of deafening techno music pumping its way through the building. He smirked proudly as he could feel eyes on him during his journey to the crowd, gazes fixating on his long hair and odd choice in attire.
After all, what was the point of dressing so wildly and showing up at a club if he couldn’t turn a few heads in the process?
Finally, he had made his way to the bar and delicately seated himself atop one of the barstools, swiveling himself away from the bar to look upon the crowd filling up seemingly every last inch of the dance floor. He adored the club scene, just watching everyone allow the booming music to take control of their actions and let themselves succumb to one night of mindless pleasure in the form of dancing to their hearts’ content. It was simply marvelous, seeing everyone enjoy themselves so fully in something as simple as dancing.
Putting on a dazzling smile, he pushed himself off of the barstool, heading back into the crowd. If he was going to be here, he might as well shine bright enough to rival the flashing lights pounding away at every occupant’s retinas while he was at it.
