having routines helps my anxiety a lot, and i’ve always thought about sharing what i do in the mornings, and before i go to bed...so here i go!!
my daytime routine is pretty straight forward!! sometimes i shower in the mornings, so afterwards i do this, but most mornings i do this as soon as i wake up!!
♡ remove all excess makeup i didnt quite get off last night - i also have some stuff in the pink mickey case to help this. (and some plasters, lipbalms etc!!)
♡ baby oil, followed by lotion and then powder!! super super soft :3
♡ i make sure i have my outfit organised with socks!! i hate walking around with bare feet, so i always make sure my socks are the first thing i put on!!
♡ make sure my hair is brushed, and clean my teeth after ive eaten something, even if it’s small.
♡ make sure to keep a drink near me at all times (sometimes it’s water, othertimes it’s a nice herbal tea. i have different ones for mornings and some to help me sleep!)
♡ take off all my make-up from the day if i’ve worn any (similar to my morning routine, except i wash my face with warm water in the morning as well as cleansers, and tend to only stick to cleansers before bed as my skin is easily irritated if i use too much on it!)
♡ night oils, lotions and powder!! i use the “sleepy” lotion on my arms and chest/neck area so i can smell the lavender. :3
♡ if i have a bath/shower, i do all of the above after!! (i got a new bubble bath today so im excited for how that smells!!)
♡ brush my teeth and get some water for my bedside :3
♡ sometimes i sleep with my paci..other times i only use it during the day (actually doesn’t have much to do with my regression sometimes, sometimes it really helps with my anxiety!) but i always sleep with my stuffie!!
