14. Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.

Modern chick fashionista. That's practically canon already, I can't imagine Ino in anything else. I do think she deserves to be comfy and cozy too, but this woman would force herself into some skinny jeans she can barely walk in just for the looks.

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

A horror film. She would make a great final girl! I mean, yeah, she also fits the "cheerleader who dies first" trope but Imo she'd be better as the final girl. I can only too well imagine that towards the end it's only her, Sakura and Shikamaru left and when Sakura is killed, that's what turns her from the one being hunted to the hunter. She would seek revenge and she would succeed! (Shikamaru would die before that because he lost all will to survive after Chouji's death anyway.)

I just think Ino out for vengeance, covered in grime, dirt and blood, with a big rifle or some other weapon in her hand would suit her very nicely, okay.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Her kindness! Yes, she's vain, yes she's a bit arrogant, yes she's a very dominant person but most importantly, she has a good heart. When she sees Sakura being bullied she immediately tells the bullies off and cheers Sakura up. During the Chuunin Exams, she comes to Sakura's aid even though they're "rivals" at that time. She cares and loves deeply and she's just such a good person all in all, I really like that about her. Kishimoto could've made her the "bitch" character the audience is supposed to hate, and that's what he made it look like in the beginning, but then he turned it around and I really appreciate that.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

Uh... Well, the first time I watched Naruto I was a young teen, so I'm pretty sure my very first impression must've been "Was für 'ne Tussi" but I'm also pretty sure it changed real fast during the Chuunin Exams arc.

I like her just fine now. Ino isn't one of my favorites but I like her and enjoy seeing any content of her. As literally every single female character in Naruto she definitely deserved better. At least she got to shine a little bit during the 4th war! Should've been more, alas...

Well, idk about patterns. I seem to flip-flop between detailed hooks and short and sweet ones. But from these I’d have to say my favorite is a tie between “Hop on” and “No, Loki.” Cuz really either of those seem to promise a good time. Am I right?

The boy leaves James breathless, his chest aching. It's becoming a familiar feeling; the suffocating sense of guilt, shame, fury and horror. He's barely aware of the water lapping at his feet, slowly rising. But somewhere in the back of his head, there's a tired, quiet little voice that says, what if you stayed here, stayed like this in this corridor. Let it flood. Embrace the fury, draw in the storm. See what happens.

And he stays, the feelings churning in his chest reflected in the audible churning of the sky high above him as the water slowly, ever so slowly rises. His tethers look beautiful underwater, he thinks absentmindedly. Like refracted sunlight in waves of the shallows he often swam in as a young man. Like lightning in slow-motion, crawling outward from his skin. He slowly turns his arms and the light moves with it, mesmerising him.

What is something you recently felt proud of in regards to your writing?

The fic that the above snippet is from (In The Deep) is my absolute baby that I'm beyond proud of in general, but something that is making me super excited is that it is actually almost done. I can see the finish line and I know how to get there!! You have no idea how rare that is for me, and for once I cannot wait to finish it 💖💖

👀 Do you have any words/phrases you use habitually? 

I'd say that the weirdest thing I've been inspired by was when I was rage-fully angry over the AvX (Avengers vs. X-Men) plotline hell, I started a fic that was a sort of crossover X-Men/Avengers + Wicker Man (1973 glorious version - not that Nick Cage nonsense) wherein Steve was sent to Utopia because of a missing mutant girl, only to essentially be put through what Sgt. Howie goes through in The Wicker Man. I never finished it because overall, I've decided that Schism/AvX/AvX Consequences never happened, as far as my fics generally go, so I'm not sure if I'll ever go back to that fic or not. Maybe I will someday just to finish it for the fun of it with lots of disclaimers that the MCU movies made me not hate Cap anymore.

I'm positive I do. I reuse combination words that I've come up with for poetry/fiction like "firelight" and "citylights" a lot (there are others, but they've left my brain just because you asked the question). I used to use "bones to blood" a lot, as in "he loved him bones to blood," but I don't know if that's made it into anything. "ass over teacup" was one I've used a few times. I've had to really watch myself and not have characters constantly arching eyebrows - that happened way too much in a fic, and I was called on it in a creative writing workshop (it wasn't a fanfic, it was original).
