While on a mission storming a HYDRA facility, James Buchanan Barnes touches one of the many strange alien devices collected by the Red Skull. He does this, in fact, twice— in the past, and in the future.
Next thing he knows, Bucky Barnes is opening his eyes in the 21st century, which is full of great gadgets and coffee, and at least includes his old pal Steve. (And, inexplicably, a different Stark.) Meanwhile, the Winter Soldier finds himself in the middle of World War Two, helping Captain America hunt down HYDRA (which is at least familiar), pretending to be Bucky Barnes (which is not), and figuring out the very noisy group of soldiers who call themselves the Howling Commandos.

Steve's unending faith in his best friend was beginning to look less like hope and more like fantasy. When they'd caught the Soldier – in a fire fight that still gave Sam nightmares – the only thing the man seemed to recall was how to hit exactly where it hurt.
Four months later, Barnes still refused to speak English. Refused to heed anything but Steve's voice.
So, all in all, it was not a great time for Hydra to attack New York. All in all, Sam really wished they'd just killed him, instead of turning Captain America into a baby.

Bucky woke up with a headache, a mouth that tasted like something had died in it, and hands-down, swear-to-god, the most beautiful man he had ever seen asleep in his lap.
Bucky was also, he realized after a moment, strapped down to a hospital bed with about six different monitors making unsynced, equally piercing, beeps. Beyond that he couldn’t quite see—there was a hideous floral curtain pulled around the bed, and while he could just make out figures moving in the room beyond it, the pattern made his head pound even worse the longer he looked at it.
So. That was concerning.

The problem, Bucky thinks now that he has most of his memories back, is that his whole entire world has always revolved around Steve Rogers. Steve has been always been half of Bucky’s identity. Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers’ best friend. Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers’ wingman. Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers’ teammate. And now, well, now Steve had other people to fill those positions. And of course, of course he’d always been a little bit in love with Steve. So when he overhears Steve telling Natasha that he’s finally found someone he’d like to date, someone with similar life experience, Bucky clings blindly to the hope that maybe, just maybe, Steve is talking about him.

"His time is upon him," Mrs. Rogers said solemnly. Bucky stared at her, taken aback and not altogether certain what she meant. It kind of sounded like she thought Steve was on the edge of death, but if that had been the case—again—she probably wouldn't have had a smile curving up the corners of her lips.
"His heat," Mrs. Rogers said more bluntly. She was a nurse, after all. "Steve has presented as an omega."

The Winter Soldier knocking up Captain America?
Bucky could only imagine what the press would say. What the world would say.
“I… Stevie, baby…” he started, wiping a hand across his face and trying not to get too worked up because he didn’t need Steve to smell this on him and think he’d done anything wrong. Bucky knew a lot of the others treated him like a bomb waiting to go off (and with good reason given his past and his very obvious issues) but he didn’t want that from Steve.

The Named - By dragonspell
Having just come back from his run, Steve looks like a picture in a magazine, T-shirt tight but sweat pants loose, the exercise barely affecting him beyond a slight sheen of sweat on his skin. He’s not even breathing hard, completely photo-ready. Steve’s the reason why Bucky is standing by the kitchen counter at seven in the morning when he would much rather be still in bed. After the first few days, when Steve finally would allow Bucky to be out of his sight for longer than five minutes, Steve had reverted to his set morning routine, slipping out of bed before dawn when all sensible people are still trying to sleep. It had taken Bucky two days to catch on and adapt to the new situation. Now, every morning, though he’s loathe to leave the bed that smells of him and Steve, Bucky rolls himself to his feet about an hour after Steve leaves to ensure that he’s by the door when Steve comes back. If he doesn’t, Steve will head straight for the shower to wash off all of the hard won sweat that Bucky would like to drown himself in.

I would like recs for Dex and Biana pairing please! <3
Dexiana is an old staple, here's what I was able to rustle up! If anyone has any further recommendations please feel free to share them with the class :)
Palm Reading by ToastGhost85
Summary: She looked around his room some more, appreciating all the posters and decor, little bits of him spread throughout his space. She supposed you could tell just as much about a person by their room as you can by the marks on their hands.
or
Biana and Dex have been dating for a while. while they're working together for team valiant, Dex brings up Palm reading and they decide to go over each others scars
My Thoughts: Despite only 1/2 chapters published, this was a perfect read with such a great premise. Really hits on a tender moment for the two of them and even unfinished it was so lovely.
Confessions and Cookies by MyFairKatie
Summary: Biana tells Dex she isn't going to register for the Match.
Then she tells him why.
My Thoughts: Once again keeping it short and sweet, this fluffy oneshot is a great confession scene with some fun background shenanigans to add to the entertainment.
I long for your touch, but don't miss by Aspenbunny
Summary: Maybe, if Biana hadn’t been so distracted, she would’ve noticed the signs. She’d never been the oblivious type. Maybe she could’ve predicted the intent behind this perfect date, been able to stop him before it happened. Maybe she could have prevented it, made it easier for the both of them.
She had only turned away for a second, to admire the reflections of the lights on the water. When she’d turned back, what she’d been too slow to realize hit her. Dex’s ears were flushed red, his eyes searching hers. His mouth was set in a determined smile, and he’d changed position so that he was now kneeling in front of her. Held in his hands was a ring.
Or...
After Biana rejects Dex's proposal, they go nine months without talking. However, when the Council assigns them both to a mission in the Forbidden Cities, they must face each other, and worse, their feelings.
My Thoughts: Maybe if you're in the mood for something a little bit less fluff focused this might be right up your ally! With all the tension and drama of a second chance plus the tropes to keep you reading, I personally found this really compelling and think anyone else would.
There's a kill order on the Winter Soldier and Steve Rogers has been acting kind of strangely lately.
