I’ve posted and talked about that Jay-Z line on here before, years ago. But I’ll say it again: Hov predicted his future. Not only he became multi not too long after that verse, but he became a billionaire a few years ago. A nigga from the projects of Brooklyn, dealing drugs to the greatest rapper of all-time and one of the biggest moguls in American history. That is fucking amazing.

2000 is an amazing album. Worth the 5 year wait. I wasn’t one of the people that was dying for Joey Bada$$ to drop new music. But I also didn’t know it was something I needed until his EP from a year or so ago, his feature verses where he sounded very motivated, leading into this new album. Way too early to say, because the album been out for less than 24 hours. But I wouldn’t be surprised if people start saying 2000 > 1999. Which right now sounds crazy because 1999 is considered one of the greatest mixtapes of all-time.
